This reportedly has the WH fuming, just as Netanyahu recently had the WH fuming. This has gotten little media coverage, as Merkel and Holande WENT AROUND Obama on this.

First Netanyahu cozies up to Putin, now Merkel and Hollande go around Obama’s desired narrative.

Just like the last several budget impasses were resolved when Congress froze Obama out.

Now we see the real Merkel and Hollande, when they are not on stage with a gazillion microphones in front of them, or when they aren't standing side-by-side with Obama giving international “pressers”

Merkel and Hollande also want an IMMEDIATE investigation into “the unlawful use of force, specifically in Odessa and Mariupol...”

Kiev will NOT want that.

“Now we see the real Merkel and Hollande”

France made their position VERY clear yesterday with the Mistral order announcement. France isn’t going to go along with anything that might harm their own, already fragile economy.

Putin has Germany by the short hairs, because the Greens have wrecked Germany’s own energy resource capabilities.

Both likely see Obama as the rest of the world does, as a LIAR, incompetent, and unreliable.

The intervention by Merkel and Hollande suggest a growing rift between the US/UK “Atlantic Axis” and continental Europe and European resistance against the US/UK engineering of a crisis in Ukraine for geopolitical reasons.

A welcome signal from Europe

“Obama has rendered the US irrelevant.”

The coup government in Kiev has not been the least bit interested in negotiating with the rebels, and that is likely being driven by Washington. It only took a couple of hours before Kiev said they wouldn’t honor John Kerry’s much-lauded Geneva Accords.

But, the US Mainstream Media never mentioned that, they just praised John Fraud’s diplomatic “BRILLIANCE!!!”.

Remember, Community Organizers don’t negotiate, they intimidate and bully to get their way.

After last week’s Obama/Merkel meeting, you could tell Merkel thinks Obama is off his rocker. Or at least, not going to be of any help in stopping this before it explodes into something that could harm Germany.

Now France and Germany are moving on their own to try and resolve this. Will anyone in the Obama-worshipping media notice? Or might doing that cost someone their job?

John Francois will jet over to Europe now to see how he can screw this up.

Actually, this is what the WH wants. They actually want Ukraine gobbled up by Russia. But Obama can’t run around saying that because it would make him look bad.

The US Dept of State, which is continuing Hillary’s policies and programs, don’t.

I realize that some of you Puti poot worshipers are looking for something positive to come out of this...but it is not really happening.

These are nuanced diplomatic concessions that basically mean nothing.

Putin alleges his army is not on the border and these can be about as reliable as those assertions. Ok, now we have implored the Ukrainians to talk with the subversives in the govt. buildings.

The bottom line is that 1)Russia’s stooge is in hiding in Russia 2) Nobody is recognizing the sham “referendum” by the insurgents 3) Not even Russia 4) The warning for sanctions is still on if the elections are interfered with.

I’ve seen on Euronews that further Russian sanction would cost EU estimated 1 thrillion euro in a few years. Over 200 billion for Germany alone.

So, you support the subversives who took over the national government not negotiating with the subversives who took over the regional governments??

The Russian stooge fled to Russia, the parliament offically ousted him. You can repeat the Russian propaganda line all you want, it’s a false narrative.

Ukraine should negotiate with the subversives in the buildings. Conditionally based on them coming out of the buildings as the agreement stated, that Russia agreed to.

We at FR realize that you RINO interventionism-worshippers cannot seem to take a hands-off approach and just stay out of some things. A recent poll WSJ/NBC News poll found that around 80% plus are tired of the ongoing interventionism.

No one cares for thug Putin, or incompetent Obama.

In reality, most in France and Germany don't recognize the coup in Kiev, and I imagine that perhaps the WH may not totally, either.

Remember, when Morsi was overthrown, the WH said that it was their position to not accept coups. How then can they then turn around and recognize the recent coup in Kiev?

People know this, the WH knows this, and so do most people in France and Germany.

Given all of the articles back in January to April from all sides (left, right, center, libertarian) that showed just how many undesirables were involved in the overthrow, we all know that the coup in Egypt was not recognized by the WH, and perhaps, deep down, truth be told, the WH does not recognize the coup in Kiev. Obama has never been one way here, another way there. /s

How could they say that they would not recognize the coup in Egypt right after Morsi was overthrown (despite knowing how badly the Muslim Brotherhood was treating the Egyptian people) and then recognize this one?

Perhaps Thunder90 in post #11 is right? Nah...

Tis crap again??
So the coup that wasn’t a coup was a not-a-coup coup?

That’s kinda koo-koo.....

That little fantasy — based on the pretext that Putin has systematically deconstructing statism in every address he’s given his own country for the last fifteen years is a clever ruse to hide the fact that he wants to bring back the Soviet Union — should finally be laid to rest by the fact that Biden has gotten his own son inserted as a director of the Ukrainian gas company.
