There are few reported complications after boys are circumcised during their first year of life, but the risk rises considerably if the procedure is performed later in childhood, according to a new analysis published on Monday.
Previous research found wide variations in the rates of complications following male circumcisions. Those studies were often small and based on patients from a single hospital.
For the new study, published Monday in JAMA Pediatrics, researchers used data from U.S. insurance claims for babies younger than one year old, children between ages one year and nine years and older children 10 years and older. The findings do not include children who underwent ritual circumcisions in a non-medical setting.

In 1963 I was in a air force hospital in Japan after a appendectomy. my two roommates were black guys, one of which had a circumcision, he was in his 30’s and was in great pain. The other fellow had a broken leg and a beautiful ebony wife that would visit him every afternoon. The visit would always cause the circ. guy a rise in the bed sheets accompanied by grimaces of elevated pain. I hate to admit it but I looked forward to those visits

I don’t think this is the place to go into detailed sexual technique, but to summarize: Uncircumcised men have the choice of intercourse with or without retracting the foreskin, each creating different sensations, and one necessitating more lubrication than the other. The natural foreskin protects the glans, and some believe this preserves its sensitivity that may be dulled if the glans is exposed to friction with underclothes in daily life. Also, the foreskin contains ample nerve endings capable of providing pleasurable sensations, and these are eliminated by circumcision.
