Ted Cruz and Mike Lee have an ally now. I’ll put Jeff Sessions of Alabama in the same class as well, but he’s so darn nice it is tough for the enemedia to hate on him the way they do Cruz and Lee.

And it does not matter to me that he supports McConnell for leadership position. He is a team player.

Ben Sasse ran for Nebraska’s GOP Senate nomination as the outsider – squabbling publicly
and privately with Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) and taking key support
from the Senate Conservatives Fund, which aims to oust incumbent Republicans it
deems insufficiently conservative.

Tuesday, with Nebraska voters headed to the polls, Mr. Sasse endorsed Mr. McConnell
as minority leader.

Asked again if that meant he would back Mr. McConnell, Mr. Sasse was more succinct:
“Absolutely,” he said

McConnell would have to win for that. Also he left it open to a degree.

I guess it’s not a good night for you? Well, it is for the Senate Conservatives Fund with Ben Sasse and Alex Mooney picking up primary victories.

It’s not wise to keep poking the guy on top, even when he is poking Sasse. Gotta play nice to a certain degree, just like Cruz stepping out of some of the races with incumbents. Sasse seems pretty solid guy, but at the same time in the Senate the game has to be played. No need for public infighting after the primary to give the leftist media any additional ammo.

A very good night indeed for the Tea Party and the Senate Conservatives Fund! Regarding the SCF’s endorsements, I fully expect they’ll win some and lose some. But so far in this young primary season, they’re 2-for-2 and batting .1000!

Very good news. RATS and RINOS aren’t too skilled in fraud in the mid-terms. Yet.

Ted Cruz does it in a manner I can live with.... he steps out of races. I much prefer the no endorse rather than the endorse. There is no reason for this ‘conservative’ to endorse anyone in the Kentucky race
