Uncle Sam doesn’t want you. At least 80 percent of you.
These days, the U.S. military is only taking 20 percent of the applicants who walk into their local recruiter’s office intent on enlisting in the armed services.
Army Sgt. 1st Class Terrence Hoard told the Kansas City Star that his recruitment office once needed to sign up 16 to 20 soldiers per month to meet recruitment goals. Today, he can get by with 10 to 12.
“We’re turning down twice as many as before,” he told the paper, which reported that four of every five adults who seek to join the military in 2014 do not make the cut.
The U.S. Army hopes to hit 57,000 recruits for active duty this year. It’s on pace to do just that, even while applying a stricter set of standards as it pertains to physical fitness, appearance (i.e., tattoos), intelligence test results and an applicant’s criminal history.
The Navy is no different.
“It’s not that we have a zero defect mentality, because we don’t,” Nathan Christensen, a Navy officer in public affairs for the Defense Department, told the Kansas City Star. “But it is true that the quality of military recruits right now is the highest it’s been in 40 years.”(continued)

There’s no way in hell I’d ever even try to enlist in today’s faggotized armed forces.
Used to be unwaveringly willing to give my life for my country. But I swear, and it totally boggles my mind and makes me want to bite my tongue to say this, but at this point, were I drafted... I’d even go flee to Canada first, before having anything to do with the deviancy of the current homo-centric military, under such human-trash as Obama and Hagel.
Maybe there will be enough good men to stabilize the mess being created until the mid terms can hopefully start a turn-around.
The story says that 80% are being turned away, not refusing to talk to a recruiter. It is possible that the recruiters are filtering out the filth.

People who wouldn’t have considered it a few years ago but are tired of either minimum wage jobs or no jobs at all. I know two of them personally, and they never even mentioned the military until the years immediately following high school sucked...
Recruiters live and die by their numbers. They would sign up the village idiots dog if they could. Once you hit your quota, you can spend the rest of the month fishing. The fact is that it has become hard to get into the military - Obama is working hard to change that.

I’m not saying America is Babylon-—”Babylon” is confusion. And, I have nothing against women in the military. Put them in intelligence or behind desks. I wouldn’t want a woman next to me in battle who couldn’t carry 200 lbs. on her shoulder out of harm’s way.

Most of my direct superiors (in military intelligence) were female, plus one company commander. Most M.I. female officers I knew were burnt-out school teachers or professors.
The day will come when the Draft returns—this time for men and woman. We will need anyone who can hold a rifle or work a computer—Citizens, Aliens, Prisoners, Old and Young. The big war is coming folks-—World War III and this time we may not win. It might be next year, five years from now, or ten—But it will happen. Illegals will be fleeing to keep from Radiation and Press Gangs. Prison camps will dot the land, Robot Cops patrol the streets. It will be a world war with Americans in all the continents of the earth as well as space. Rationing will be common. Wait till the loosses come in—a million in one battle, Our surface navy in Davy Jones Locker, our airfleets gone. I beleieve we will see American Kamakazis selling their lives to keep back the enemy as they inch towatd America. Lets hope I am wrong.

With the ongoing Baraqqi Depression, the military is one of the few options available for young folks.
Except for once.
At a time when most of us thought that a recruiter would have killed to hook a 20 something female lawyer, instead he laughed at Hillary Rodham Clinton, (named after Sir Edmund Hillary).
According to her. And she has never been known to lie.
