EUGENE, Ore. - An Oregon man today became the first known person anywhere to read the text of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act - otherwise known as Obamacare - in its entirety.
David Bospherous, a retired civil engineer, told a large group of reporters that he began reading the legislation just a few days after it was signed into law on March 23, 2010. He said he approached it like a full-time job, reading from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break, every week day.
There were times Bospherous felt like quitting, but the idea that he could be the only person in the world to have read the legislation kept him motivated.
"It wasn't the kind of read I was hoping for. Too much gibberish about bailouts, mandates and what people can no longer do," he said. "But just think about what I accomplished. The president, all of the Senate, all of the House... none of them managed what I did."

Just think... if Congress consisted of only congressmen and woman and Sinators that had actually read the bill, this guy would be by himself - he would have both chambers to claim his own with nobody else inside it.
I say, during this graduation season, give this guy an honorary Senatorship.

But did he actually read all the laws, regulations and statutes that were amended by the ACA?
Because if you don’t read all of those, you’re missing a lot.
The article is of course a parody, but it’s true that no normal American could actually read all of Osamacare. The only people who have read and understood the whole thing are the people who want to kill off America; the text is deliberately laced with incomprehensible jargon. In an honest court system, this language would have the same legal standing as Esperanto or Klingon.
