House Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa, a dogged critic of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius' part in Obamacare's rollout woes, lobbed a parting shot at the outgoing official Wednesday.
In a letter, the California Republican lawmaker accused Sebelius of failing to comply with a subpoena for documents related to last year's flawed launch, warning he'd "have no alternative but to consider the full range of options to enforce the subpoena" if her department fails to hand over the information.
He made the first call for documents last October. And while the HHS passed along 111,000 pages of information, Issa complained that much of it was heavily redacted, The Hill noted.
"The department's substantial delay in production, combined with its improper redactions, has obstructed the committee's investigation," Issa charged.
"The department's failure to comply fully hinders the committee's constitutional obligation to conduct oversight of the executive branch."
Sebelius has one foot out the door at HHS. The Senate is expected to soon confirm Sylvia Mathews Burwell to be her successor, Fox News reported Wednesday.
Issa's letter bitterly complains that HHS is throwing a monkey wrench into the committee's investigation by telling contractors not to comply with the subpoena even hinting that the White House is in on the foot-dragging.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius’ replacement also has a reputation for “stonewalling”, obviscation ,delay ,and deny.
Maybe Gowdy will cause the others in the GOP to grow some balls?
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Both Kathleen Sebelius and I doubt if Issa will actually throw somebody in jail for this. Both Kathleen and I fully expect Darryl Issa to continue talking about doing something, and never going beyond the talking stage. When some of his Big Witnesses to unlawful behavior start dozing off in the proceedings chamber, Issa will know that he’s lost all power to intimidate anybody, except the voter and the taxpayers, sort of like The President.
I think Issa might be suffering from Gowdy envy.
One “phony scandal” after another envelops these self-entitled, above-the-law miscreants called Liberal Democrats. Why are they always hiding something? How many investigations, subpoenas, and contempt citations have we heard about during the “most transparent administration” Nancy Pelosi established by whim of word? It’s beyond time to sweep the floor. Let’s put some disinfectant into these mid-terms and 2016 elections.
Issa: “Yeah Lois, this time I really, Really, REALLY mean it!”
Issa to staff: “How did that soundbite resonate?
My voice isn’t what it used to be when I recorded for the “Back Up” thingy that made me a multi-millionaire.”
Staff: “Dude! You were, like, so out there!”
Make a recording of that last rehearsal for me to take home tonight, and I’ll practice improving the timber of my voice while I’m getting my hair cut for free tomorrow.
I’ll probably wait to tell Lois sometime next week, maybe.
OOPS! Memorial Day Holiday may be a problem, - - - oh well.
I’m sure she won’t mind, and that will give me time to finally review the notes that Trey Gowdy gave me when he got his own committee.
Sure hope that he is as iron-willed as I am.
One of the biggest problems I have with republicans is they’re always “hinting” at crap. All them liars and criminals and get on with it!
Isn’t it about time for a sternly worded letter, Darrell?
If Issa wants anything other than his dog and pony show he will serve the NSA and get the emails from their databases unredacted.
