DOCUMENT OF APPEAL: Heads of Evangelical Protestant Churches of Ukraine on the occasion of the election of the President of Ukraine
"Ukrainian government today is especially important in the historical process in which the voice and position of people with tremendous weight and determine the course of further development of our country for decades.
After the tragic events of the Maidan, an invasion of Russian troops on Ukrainian soil and subsequent illegal annexation of the Crimea , provocation and artificial escalation of violence in the East and South of Ukraine is extremely important to the formation of Ukrainian society completeness of the government to effectively counter these threats for the unity , integrity , independence and sovereignty of Ukraine .
Therefore call on all citizens of Ukraine to go to the polls May 25, 2014 and vote ! Let your choice be conscious, deliberate and responsible to the interests of the entire Ukrainian society. In the present context indifference and refusal to participate in the elections, serious threat to the peace and stability of our country.
Thus caution everyone to reject any temptation to sell their vote, election results falshuvaty or be complicit legal violations. Only fair, transparent and democratic elections are key to democracy and safeguard against political corruption and usurpation of power.
Vote for the candidate for President, who do you think will protect the national interests of Ukraine, to provide spiritual and economic growth, fight corruption and establish moral values in our country.
We appeal to continue prayer and fasting for peace, unity, integrity and sovereignty of the Ukrainian state. Almighty God is able to protect our people, if one of us leave it at that evil and sin and converted to the Creator and Savior of repentance and humble heart.
We believe in a good future for Ukraine, spiritual and economic growth, the better the fate of the Ukrainian people!

All the best to them, but they will be electing a president of a smaller Ukraine, west of the Dnieper River. Crimea and the east are gone, and it is doubtful that Kiev would be able to govern those areas anyway. A partition of Ukraine is the most likely solution to avoid civil war and stumbling into an even broader conflict.
