The talk before Wednesday night’s Game 5 between the Nets and Heat was about a potential boycott by the NBA players next season.

Roger Mason Jr., vice president of the NBA players association, said in an interview Tuesday that LeBron James would not play if Donald Sterling, the owner of the Clippers, still owned the team at the start of next season. Mason later backtracked on Twitter, but James was forced to respond before the game.

"At the end of the day as players, we see what [commissioner] Adam Silver is doing and he’s moving forward," the Miami superstar said. "If he continues … to move aggressively on the situation, then as players we have nothing to worry about."

Maybe some high priced lawyer told these clowns their bling would be cut off if they don't play...I don't think they suddenly developed a respect for property rights.

“...LeBron James would not play if Donald Sterling, the owner of the Clippers, still owned the team at the start of next season.”

Doesn’t he have a contractual committment with the team?

So the NBA players do not believe in America and the judicial system we have?
Sorry Mr James. Sterling certainly is a jerk and an asshat. However if that criteria is used for banishment then your league would lose half its players..........

Maybe they got the latest TV ratings after he made that threat? Whites are not welcome to watch that game.

Pray America wakes up

NFL draft was not playing a game just picking players for a team killed the NBA in playoff games in the ratings.

Exactly. A boycott sounded great until his lawyer pointed out that his team could stop paying him. What a joke.

What possible difference could it make in my life in a bunch of millionaires don't throw a big ball through a metal ring? These idiots have to be reminded that basketball is a spectator sport.

Why anybody watches this sport in the first place I have no idea. It would be more entertaining to carve all of the letters of the alphabet into my teeth with an emory board.

Methinks his agent couldn’t have been too happy with his remarks.

I believe I’ve finally given up on professional sports. Nor more NBA, NFL, or MLB.

I am dying. Sports are a great diversion. I’s sure tens of thousand others feel the same way. So, take your negativism elsewhere, Sweet Cakes!

Thug reaction from “LeBro” who will probably be filing for bankruptcy within 5 years of his retirement.

What’s more there are lots of college players ready to enter the pros and get their millions. So James, who already has about 50 million or more, is telling these players, “sorry, we’ve got this boycott going on. You don’t need a millions bucks anyway. Stay in school and get that worthless degree in Black Studies. You’ll stay poor as a church mouse because of this boycott, but I’ll still be living large. Maybe there won’t even be a league in a few years because of this boycott. We’ll destroy the league. But I’ll still have 50 million bucks. Ha, ha.”

Maybe LeBron would just boycott Heat-Clipper’s games if Mr. Sterling remains as the owner. :)

The only professional one I watch, is Major League Lacrosse. Those guys make next to nothing and play hard. I guess me being a former lax player helps. :)

Maybe Holder can get him a ‘pass’ to throw his team and his contract under the bus... and do what ever he wants just like he doesn’t have any contract at all!!

You and me both buddy, I've had it with their pink shoes and PC crap! From now on I will find other ways to entertain myself rather than watching a bunch of spoiled, loudmouthed millionaires play a kid's game! Eff 'em all
