The Donetsk People's Republic has giving the Kiev government until 9 p.m. local time on Thursday to remove Ukrainian troops from the Donbass region, a spokesman said, threatening to oust them by force if the ultimatum expires.

The leaders of the Donetsk militia on Wednesday night gave authorities 24 hours, until 6 p.m. GMT, to vacate roadblocks in the region, news agency Interfax reported Thursday.

"Reconnaissance groups and sabotage groups are ready to go and some are already in position," militia deputy commander Sergei Zrilyuk said Thursday, RIA Novosti reported.

The group has enough resources to ensure "everything will be destroyed and burned," if the conditions are not met on time, Zrilyuk was quoted as saying.

“The Donetsk People’s Republic”

Is that next to Kamchatka on the “Risk” board game?

It’s more like “the break-away republic of Chechnya”.

In other news, Serbians have twenty four hours to leave Kosovo before Albanian MUSLIMS vote for autonomy...

Did Bill Clinton lay the groundwork for Kosovo to be stolen from Serbia?

There is a way to keep what is happening in Ukraine from going on.

America, Russia, Europe, etc, all countries must adopt a permanent position of never, ever being hypocritical again in any natter.

Donetsk “People’s Republic”? Has “People’s Republic” ever been used for anything other than communist countries? This isn’t a surprise. You see hammers and sickles, Che, and Lenin all over those separatists. What’s surprising is the name they chose is going unnoticed.

Russia will invade within the month. Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Moldova are next.

Yes, there were certain Russian gov’t officials that were overheard (guess their phones were tapped?) saying that Catalonia, Scotland and even Miami were next on their list to be “annexed.”

Undoubtedly this will occur after Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Moldova are invaded.

This is Emperor Palputin’s and Darth Lavrov’s plans...

Today theses areas, tomorrow the whole planet, the day after that: a galactic empire. /s

Those nations that are NATO members will not be invaded, and neither will any others. That is the most likely scenario. The U.S. and Europe should and will protect NATO partners..

What do you mean “we”, Dallas-Fort Worth Florida Gator Fan? If we hate the PRD so much, why are we fighting to keep them in our country? I’m all for a violent overthrow of a corrupt government, even a “fairly” elected one, but we should understand there are consequences. The people in PRD who want to stay in Ukraine are living, breathing consequences. Ukraine should have said, “fine, go.” Now they’re going to have to fight until Russia comes in, or pull out and look stupid.

Joke, it was loosely taken for the “Peoples’ Front of Judea” vs “Judean Peoples Front” skit in ‘Life of Brian.’

NATO will NOT protect their partners. Those countries will most likely have huge portions annexed by Russia. NATO will not help because they’ve alienated the people with the will to fight (The American, heterosexual, Christian male).

Expanding NATO was foolish. Quick show of hands...who wants to get into a nuclear war over Latvia? How about Moldova?

The ~40 million people of Ukraine had nothing to do with Serbia.

And it's pretty sick to think one should punish the Ukrainian people because Bill Clinton was wrong in Kosovo.

That’s the same sentiment that all the unilateral disarmament people expressed in the middle of the Cold War.

If we put PershingII missiles into Europe there will be nuclear Armageddon. Appeasement nonsense.

The reason Russia annexed parts of Ukraine is because they were not allowed NATO membership. The Baltics are low hanging fruit, but the Russia will not challenge NATO.

Would you have America play the hypocrite, just so that Obammy (who was embarrassed by Putin over Syria, and who is steaming mad over Putin dropping the hammer on homosexuals in Russia) will look good?

It is sick? Nope. Wrong on your part - big time.

Bill Clinton set a bad precedent. Period. Blame him, and call him sick, if you will apply that label to anyone. But many RINOS would rather lay into conservatives rather than place the blame where it belongs: Clinton

Because of Kosovo, we either allow what was allowed with Kosovo (illegal Albanians streaming over the border into Kosovo, they were allowed to vote, Serbians were ran out of Kosovo, and ultimately a vote for autonomy for MUSLIM Albanians) or we don't.

If Obama goes one way he is seen as weak, if he goes another, America looks hypocritical. Neither helps U.S. foreign policy.

Hey, if you want to trade Moldova for New York City and DC I’m good with that.

So it sounds like the Donbass’s in Ukraine have to get out of Donbass, or there will likely be a war.
