Obama: I Need New Yorkers to Move West and Vote Democrat
by Charlie Spiering 15 May 2014, 7:41 AM PDT President Obama joked during a New York fundraiser that he needed the attendees to move west to increase his support.
During his speech, Obama told a story about a woman who asked how she could help him, and he joked that she should move to North Dakota.
“If I could just get about a million excess votes in Brooklyn out to Nebraska, Wyoming, we’d be doing okay,” Obama said as the crowd laughed. “I don't need 80 percent of the vote here.”
Obama complained about “structural disadvantages” with the political system, pointing out that although Republican ideas did not have support from the majority of Americans, the political system kept Democratic majorities out of reach.
“We have a congenital disease, which is: during midterms our voters don't show up. That's what it comes down to,” he said. “That and population distribution and gerrymandering.”
Obama said he had been stymied in trying to enact his agenda because "Washington doesn't work."
Obama said:
The challenge we've got is very simple: Washington doesn’t work. It's not as if we've got no good ideas on policy. We've got tons of them. I've got a drawer full of things that we know would create jobs, help our middle class, boost incomes, make us more competitive. But we have a party on the other side that has been captured by an ideology that says no to everything because they cling to a rigid theory that the only way to grow the economy is for government to be dismantled and let the market sort things out, and folks at the top doing very well will somehow automatically trickle down to everybody else.

The white house clown can save the effort. There are moron governors out there with functioning economies actively recrruiting liberals in New York and California to move to their states. Because you really want people moving to your state who have fouled their own nests.
To me this is proof enough that there is a master plan.

Unfortunately for Obuttboy, the New Yorkers and other folks from the northeast who are moving out West tend to be Conservatives who have had it with Socialism. They are moving West to escape statism and find like-minded patriots.
Relocation camps. It is what big government leftist all dream about.
Actually, the reverse is also true: imagine if the interior of California or the Illinois population outside of Chicago emigrated to Delaware, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Vermont....we would see a much more Republican New England.
Or, if they moved to so-called PURPLE states to tip the balance.
Here in Arizona, I live in an overwhelmingly Republican town. It and the other heavily Republican, military, (and Mormon) dominated area of the state were fed to the Democratic wolves by a Republican legislature.
It’s absolutely criminal, a district of patriots in Yuma overwhelmed by minorities from Tucson on the other side of the state, and represented by Mo Udall, Ed Pastor, and now Raul Grijalva. The district and my own was approved by Republicans deliberately and decisively limiting their own power.
During the Soviet era, millions of Russians were deliberately resettled in the other republics (the Baltics, Kazakhstan and Ukraine in particular) to reduce the political strength of the local populations and the threat their nationalist inclinations presented.
Perhaps Obama is thinking of a similar plan.
He smirks when he says it but he is NOT joking.

Just looking at the headlines, and considering the day’s stories - foreign policy, economy, takeover of health care- the campaign, the 2014 and ever looming 2016, that is, the race seems to be between BO and Cruz.
