A Texas talk show host stormed off set Tuesday after a heated discussion was ignited when she expressed disapproval of coverage showing Michael Sam kissing his boyfriend.
“Can we just agree that this was an opportunity to make news?” KTXD-TV’s “The Broadcast” host Amy Kushnir asked.
“He has every right to do what he wants, that’s not my issue,” she added. “I just don’t want it in my face.”
“Well, then maybe you don’t need to see romantic comedies or when people kiss on television,” one of the co-hosts shot back.
“Why does she not have the right to say what she means without being slandered?” another co-host countered.
Moments later, Kushnir gathered her belongings and stormed off the set.
“I’m done,” she said.

It really is like 1984 isn’t it! You can’t even have a conversation in the privacy of your own home without fear of reprisal and people reporting back to the “authorities” with your statements. We’re on a very slippery slope right now. People need to wake up!

I think the velvet mafia knows that their lifestyle is not going to be accepted despite their campaign! That is exactly why they are resorting to their “no tolerance” policy. Accept their lifestyle or lose your job, get fined, etc. Somebody needs to put a stop to it or else it’s going to get completely out of hand!
I thought tape recording phone conversations without the person’s consent was illegal? Yet people are admitting to it left and right on national TV and instead of arresting that person who ad ADMITTING IT, the media wants to hear the tape..what next, taking posts off message boards and using that to bring a person down too..that is what will happen next..get the IP address info from people who post messages that don’t fit with the left’s agenda and they will use that to destroy people too..this country IS changing, or has already changed, and NOT for the better..its like living in North Korea
I just turn it off. it’s a aversion to me. Don’t want to see it. Any channel it’s on I change it. any discussion or lgbt discussions here I ignore. on days where it seems do dominate free republic, I go somewhere else.

I haven’t watched television is about 15 years. It is rather liberating not hearing 5 minutes of commercials, for each 20 minutes of my life.
I always watch both sides...I will not comment on their depravity without first reading it or seeing it.
I am more than a little outspoken when it comes to my conservative opinions....it has worked internally, my three college graduated sons are EXTREMELY conservative. Society, however seems to ignore me..I am 75 years old and the same people are in poverty are still there when I was a kid in Milwaukee and they still vote the same...pathetic

I DVR my shows I want to watch. then FF through the commercials. it’s rare if ever i watch commercials.. I suspect commercials will start to go away and you will see more product placement ads in the shows (as if there where not enough of those already)

That always gets to me. How do these people that live in absolute hell holes keep voting to live that way? Why? Because they get free stuff? At what price?
Sexual orientation is not a race. Her crying racism just absolutely infuriated me. Despite what the LGBT crowd would like to believe, sexual orientation is a choice. You cannot choose to be black or white. Talk about trying to change reality by force! They think that if you just call not believing that homosexuality is normal racism, it will stick. Watching that clip was torture for me. God help those two poor women that had to endure the stupidity of the other two!
