She’s the woman who wants adultery criminalized, homosexuality made illegal and rock groups like Iron Maiden banned in Northern Ireland—and she wants your vote.

Meet Susan Anne White, one of the most outspoken and controversial candidates in the upcoming council elections.

The 55-year-old is standing as an independent in the new Fermanagh and Omagh district and is campaigning on what she says are the three most serious threats to society—the “destructive” homosexual agenda, the growth of Islam and the "money-draining" EU.

“I don’t consider myself extreme at all,” Mrs. White told the Belfast Telegraph. …

She is the type of “conservative” candidate that liberals love.

Rock music is destructive to any society that it comes into prolonged contact with. These rock stars are not good singers either.

"I could not understand young girls falling for those three note songs sung by singers with lousy voices."

Mel Torme as to why he nearly quit singing.

Very true. I suspect some of these people are liberal "plants" (although probably this lady isn't).

One interesting aspect. Notice how no one ever considers themselves to be "extreme". Logical really - I mean if you are sure you are in the right why would you think you are being "extremist"?

I'm with her on adultery and homosexuality. Both were illegal in most states until the sixties.

As far as banning immoral performances in general (I don't know anything about Iron Maiden), I have no problem with localities doing that. It's probably a counter-productive effort, though.

I knew this woman would be as ugly as sin. She’s ugly inside and out and wants to take it out on everyone else.

I suspect she’s a straw man (straw woman?) sort of candidate designed to drive people to the left. Sort of like the H Ross Perot conspiracy that gave us Clinton.

I can understand her stance on most things but Iron Maiden are a theatrical rock act. A lot of their songs centered around revelations etc and they had a large skeleton dressed in denim who moved around the stage. Nicko the drummer is a Christian, Bruce Dickinson, lead singer is a fully fledged pilot for large passenger aircraft and used to fly their own jet. They have had so many members it’s hard to name them all. These are not the death metal, burn down churches, satan worshiping, norse metal, neo-nazi, pagans that are prevalent now in some parts of Europe!

I guessed that she would be a number of standard deviations below average on the attractive scale (six sigma in reverse)

There are a lot of leftist trolls posting here under conservative color.

This candidate is the essence of conservatism. Her positions only seem so extreme because WE, society, has drifted so extremely left.

Well put.

To many, conservatism means "going all the way back to the way things were 10 years ago".

Hence the reason the “Music” is so loud and the “singers” scream. Who in their right mind likes that stuff?

She criticised "deafening" rock acts such as Iron Maiden and Kurt Cobain for promoting anarchy.

Well, it's okay; I can go with that; she didn't mention the Grateful Dead.

That’s why I went with the general principle, since I don’t know anything about Iron Maiden. But localities would be within their rights to restrict the acts you’ve described.

Well, I would kind of love it too. If someone else cheats on me, and I can prove it, it would be nice to have a bigger share of something should I divorce someone for being unrepentant about it.

As for liberals, they can hardly account for anything they can do, so for us little people, well, we get a whole bunch of crap to impress us, while we get tossed deeper and deeper into the ditch with the promise of welfare and healthcare, or the promise that our country is so big and strong, while it shakes a limp, decaying, wrist at the Russians. As for the UK, they had Polonium smuggled and used to poison a man to death by the name of Alexander Litvinenko, a man seeking asylum from Russia. All it goes to say is that if some whacko wanted to smuggle a nuke into Britain as part of an act of terror, it probably could be done, considering that they could get highly radioactive material in there undetected.

What? She's not a citizen of the U.S.? Not a problem, we recently removed that requirement.

Rock music is destructive to any society that it comes into prolonged contact with.

I used to mock that statement when I was a youth. But if you look back on how Rock & Roll progressed and our society digressed, there's no question it is bad. Or maybe it is more of a mirror of who we are now. And as the hypocrite I am, I will be playing it tonight to help put food on the table.

Fred Phelps attended Bob Jones University for a short time. It is a delusion to think he was a liberal plant. He was, or perhaps became, an Independent Fundamental Baptist.
