Yes. IMHO, Cornwell is the best historical fiction writer currently still writing. His unabashed Britaino-centric attitude is refreshing, although it means I can't really enjoy his novels set in the American Revolution. Iggulden is okay as well, but there aren't many others.
I experimented with Giles Kristian but I found myself getting bored quickly.
I love Corwell too. Just finished 'The Pagan Lord' and loved it! I've read just about all of his historical books and when I'm into them can't put them down. I've read the Sharpe series 3 times, The Arthur series twice, The Saxon series twice, and everything else at least once.
I'd also recommend Patrick O'Brien's Aubrey and Maturin series if you haven't tried them yet. It's a 21 book series but each book is just an extended chapter in a long, addictive novel.
