A boy should always have a target dog to shield him from police abuse.

“It was not their first visit to the home on such reports.”

Same kid? The 10 year old, 100 pounder?

Another PR score for Serve & Protect.

When I see a story like this, I wish there was good quality video of the incident.

On the other hand, is this a wild little ten year old, or a TEN YEAR OLD in a high school football players body?

At 94 pounds, it sounds like the former.

Isn’t it a little strange that the police had to be called in the first place?

When I was growing up (70’s) a friend of mine’s family had a very long and drawn out court battle. His mom was a teacher, and she had tied a kid to the chair. I don’t even know how the case turned out.

But looking back on it...why not tie the unruly kid to the chair, call mom or dad to come take him home, and move on with life.

But now the police have to get involved? Wow. I think the 70’s and 80’s were transitional. My friend’s mom was acting in a 1950’s manner...something that would probably make national news today. But has this change made us better or worse?

Kid is lucky he wasn’t shot. It could have turned out much differently if he had pulled a pop tart firearm on the cops.

A news release from the mayor's office and the Martinsville Police Department said the officers responded to reports of a 10-year-old who was out of control at [not so] Tender Teddies Day Care Tuesday night, reports WRTV in Indianapolis. ...

The department says that when the officers arrived the boy was out of control, hitting and kicking and refusing to listen to them. The department says the officers used a stun gun and slapped the boy to subdue him. The chief said the boy cried after being shocked on Tuesday but is now fine, WRTV reports."

But parents better not discipline their children who are acting out (which might well have led to this 10-yr old's behavior problems in the first place, ironically enough).

Hmmmmmm. I wonder if there is a business opportunity to be something of a matchmaker.

You know, match up dog pounds with police departments.

I mean the unwanted dogs are going to be put down anyway, right? Right???

Right, why is everyone calling the freaking cops for everything? No wonder these guys are acting like jackbooted thugs, they called for stupid crap.

Call the "parent" of this little moron and say you will need to find other arrangements because he's out of here. Were the parents by some freaking miracle actually working or is this a welfare case?

I need more info. But for crying out loud why can't anyone handle anything without calling the cops?
