Harry Reid Praises Thad Cochran as a “Wonderful Man”

You can bet your last dollar that Harry Reid wouldn’t have such nice things to say about Senator Chris McDaniel. Harry hates true conservatives, like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, but loves RINOs like Thad! Harry praises Thad for his work helping Democrats pass their appropriations bills and for a lovely trip they once took together. How nice!

I tweeted in the direction of Hairy Roid this morning.

@SenatorReid If the Koch brothers are trying to buy America, I suggest selling. They'd do a hell of a lot better job than you're doing.

I bet Harry Reid sings that country song by Jerrod Niemann in the shower....”I can drink to Thad all night.”

Harry Reid has one goal in mind when he praises Thad Cochran, and that is damaging his chances. Reid’s calculation, probably correct,is that Thad is more electable than McDaniel, thus more of a threat to his future as majority leader.

Getting a marriage blessing from Harry Obamacare is just as bad as a getting choice master husband at the hands of Boko Haram.

... and for a lovely trip they once took together.

Was that twin beds or a double?

+1. But also damage Cochranes chances in November, should he win the nomination.

Similar to what I just said on the Valerie Jarrett/Boehner thread, and have said before. 2014 is a base turnout election. The Dem base is demoralized so the only hope they have is to suppress the GOP base.

Not to be interpreted as a pro-Cochrane position. Just want to make sure what’s going on is out there and part if the discussion so Conservatives can make informed, fact and issues based voting decisions.

If Harry Reid thinks a man is “wonderful” then that man is almost certainly a worthless a$$hole.

Good point.

But has Cochran denied the comment was made - or better yet, denounced Harry Reid?

I have no idea what Cochran has done in response to Harry Reid’s comments. They all dance to their own special brand of music.

Chris McDaniel needs to make this into a TV Ad post-haste.

Thanks for the ping - we have every intention of voting for McDaniel.

On another note, I'm surprised (sort of) to see Gene Taylor running again. I see signs, but haven't heard of any campaign per se. Do you have info? I haven't been tracking Palazzo, but haven't seen or heard any reason to get rid of him and go back to Taylor. I also see that Taylor is running as a Republican this time out. He is the only Democrat I can recall ever voting for, but it would be nice if anyone had extra dope on his run and how Palazzo has been performing.

I was on the coast last weekend and saw no Taylor signs and very few McDaniel signs.

I’m actually seeing a smattering of both - it’s interesting that a number of places have McDaniel and Taylor signs side by side. I guess Taylor was the last of the Blue Dog Democrats and knows that the “mood” in Mississippi tends to more conservative tastes these days, hence the run as “the conservative choice” and as a repub.
