First they lost their television show. Now the Benham brothers say they are losing their business.
SunTrust Banks is cutting ties with would-be reality stars David and Jason Benham after liberal activists attacked them for their conservative views on abortion and gay marriage, The Daily Caller has learned.
In a statement provided first to TheDC on Friday, the Benham brothers confirmed that SunTrust Banks has pulled all of its listed properties with the Benham brothers’ bank-owned property business, which includes several franchisees across four states.

I’m glad I pulled my SunTrust accounts last year—if I needed a reason to keep from going back, this would be it.
And I spent most of my career in HR, but in the Compensation side of the business, connecting pay and performance.

I’ve been in HR also. You stated your job was “connecting pay and performance”, which s/b business main concern. HR has devolved into a day care center for employees.

I happen to know someone who is very high up in SunTrust HR. The company is quite conservative, so I do not believe this decision was born internally. They probably received outside pressure.
I got out of HR because it became “Government work” 25 years ago. ..and i was in high tech
So, is SunBank in business to handle money for profit, or to police political views?
Are they willing to lose money they could have made because they disagree with a customer?
What happened to defending everyone’s right to have their own opinion? Does it make their money somehow worth less to the bank?
They took the “person” out of Personnel and renamed it “HR.”
But that does not change the fact that their craven corporate behavior is abetting this steady erosion of our liberties and that will eventually effect their business far more dramatically negatively than they can imagine.
Time to start fighting back....
