Clinton, a former secretary of state who's eyeing a presidential bid in 2016, praised both President Obama and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, for their economic stewardship. And she contrasted their years in the White House with the tenure of former President George W. Bush, saying eight years of a Republican presidency "taught us different lessons."

America has changed.
It’s NOT the economy anymore, stupid.
It’s the entitlement army!
2012 proved that.

Bill Clinton had to work with a Republican House and Senate who kept his collectivist ideas in check. They trimmed Welfare, defense and other expenses, so that with some sleight of hand they could actually point to a balanced budget for a few seconds.

GW Bush had Nancy and Hairy in the House and Senate, and he did not have the courage to stop spending.

Those two remind me of an old vaudeville couple that don’t know when it’s time to leave the stage. It is time.

I resent the fact that people leave out of the equations the MAIN Factor in moving the economy of the Bill Clinton years was more BILL GATES and STEVE JOBS. Everyone wanted a bigger, faster Internet memory chip, and the dot com companies expanded, people wanted all kinds of electronic gadgets THIS....my friends caused the BUMP...and the spike. It is CONGRESS that authorizes funds, and people should hold the CONGRESS responsible for spending, during the days of Bush it was a DEMOCRAT Congress. Oh well. Keep on living stupid.
