He attended his first Monkee convention this year at the Meadowlands Hilton. $100 for him to sign an album. That was a big thing, since a lot of people already had the other three Monkee autographs. The 5/12/2014 New Yorker had an amusing write-up of it.
The Monkees would've been in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame long ago if it were up to me.
Well, I’m always curious of those that are quick to point the finger. Here, the left is saying fraud...immediately, yep, because that’s exactly what they do - so it’s the first thing they think of.
I just *has* to be...as Rush says, they just can’t wrap their little minds around this possibility....because *they* own the media, they get to decide *who* is successful...and yet they can’t touch Rush. Rush is successful because he can quickly articulate a point and not even care about apologizing for it. The left seize on the weak, if somebody says something out of line they get jumped on, the immediate pressure to apologize or demand the person be fired...and people cave. Not Rush though, he doubles down and they can’t stop him, their hate for him is palpable.
Can’t wait to see Al Gore’s children’s book, or one written by Hillary....*shudder*

Part of the issue for the Libs is that Rush announced the Competition on his Show, so all the Ditto Heads Voted for him not the Kids.
The Problem of course is if that was the case he would have Won ALL the Awards being given out, not just Author of the Year. I think there were six Categories in total.
He didn’t win Best Book or any other Category. Why would his so called Ditto Head Voters only give him one win?
