Obama Has Every Reason to Fix the VA. Why Hasn't He?
National Journal ^ | May 14, 2014 | Jordain Carney & Stacy Kaper

The failures of the Veterans Affairs Department are a moral abomination: They leave soldiers wounded at war to wait in long lines for the payments they need to fund their care.

And VA failures are under new scrutiny amid reports of a string of preventable deaths among veterans and a growing political controversy around them—and many in Congress are pointing a finger in the White House's direction.

It’s one of those Bush thingies he hasn’t gotten around to addressing yet! There are only so many hours in 5 years one can handle! Maybe Moochell can get them a healthier lunch of eggplant and Brussell sprouts?

Well. Recall back to “...this is the first time I have been proud of my country.....” and to “....all this for a damned flag....” and should be patently obvious.

I don’t even need to go into how everybody in this Administration deserted and ignored the Benghazi mission (from weeks before and up to and including and afterwards)and the murder of 4 Americans. They haven’t even identified any suspects - our illustrious FBI ON THE JOB.

Obama is the Reluctant President, never really engaged in any aspect of actually governing at home or abroad.

The man has zero passion or love for America or its veterans.

The most unqualified President American has ever elected.

Because he hates the US military.

Not only the military as an institution, but the kind of person who would serve in a disciplined, well-armed and dedicated organization. Armies exist to kill people, break things and make a lot of noise doing it. Just on a visceral level, the very thought of such disorder troubles many people, and their every instinct is of revulsion.

But over the ages, every civilization and even some otherwise rather uncivilized folks have engaged in some kind of warfare with rivals and neighbors, for any number of reasons, and every nation worthy of bearing the designation maintains some level of military preparedness, commensurate with preserving their status with their neighbors.

The United States of America long ago made a covenant with the men who sprang to the nation's defense, that the survivors of the ravages of warfare and their families should not suffer disproportionately for their sacrifices. And it has been (mostly) kept.

There have been lapses before (US Grant, hero of the Civil War, died in an unheated room, penniless), but veterans come to their elected leaders with a very high moral standing, and are rewarded much better than the persons who had never served. Until that got turned on its head with the example of the Korean War and the Viet Nam War periods, in which the veterans were either largely forgotten or openly insulted and despised.

Hi.

The Democrats and Republicans in Congress deserve just as much blame in this matter as the sh!tbird Obama.

Both the Senate and House have Veterans oversight committees, true, but the fish rots from the head down.

The VA is a test bed to murder millions of Americans as obamas terrorist friend William Ayers wanted to do to 25 million Americans so the socialists could take over. The democrats will murder one at a time by denying healthcare.

Over in other socialist countries they already kill thousands. England has their pathway to death setup (Liverpool Care Pathway) where 80,000 people a year were put on a secret death list. Up to 130,000 by some accounts.
You checked into a hospital and you are killed by lack of food and water and medical care.

Here is but one article about the mass murder.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2364029/How-Liverpool-Care-Pathway-used-excuse-appalling-care.html

The pathway involves withdrawal of lifesaving treatment, with the sick sedated and usually denied nutrition and fluids. Death typically takes place within 29 hours.

“Obama Has Every Reason to Fix the VA. Why Hasn’t He?”

The only thing that concerns this abomination about vets is that one should be available to him at all times to carry an umbrella for him.

"Both the Senate and House have Veterans oversight committees, true, but the fish rots from the head down."

And funding authority.

Nobody was seriously calling VA into account over the last 20years. And nobody sounded the alarm 'cept vets themselves and VFW and the Legion.

And nobody was willing to come up with more money to make the promise come true.

Republicans and Democrats in Congress also bear great responsibility.

It is what I’ve been trying to tell people. Obama is literally NOT in control. People behind the scenes (primarily heads of Federal Agencies) are controlling everything. No one tells them what to do no matter what everyone thinks.

why?

because the Obama regime has made the VA hospital administrators actual death panels.

It is not Sarah rhetoric, it is reality

Obama regime must be ended

The veterans are a problem in their eyes.

Do you recall that homeland security has identified them as possible "terrorist threats to the government"?

Obama could not care less about our veterans.

Compare the care that the prisoners at Gitmo are receiving and the care that our veterans get from the VA.
