No Child Left Undiagnosed

The latest ploy to make childhood a disease

"Sluggish Cognitive Tempo" may possibly be the very dumbest and most dangerous diagnostic idea I have ever encountered.

A prospective study using DSM-IV found that by age 21, 81 percent of kids had already qualified for one diagnosis of mental disorder. DSM-5 recently made things much worse when it turned normal temper tantrums into Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder.

If it’s such large percentages of the population — maybe, just maybe, it isn’t abnormal.

Prone to Daydreaming? Trouble staying awake or alert when bored?...You may have SCT:

The only study of medication to date to specifically evaluate drug effects on SCT symptoms in children used atomoxetine and found it to have significant beneficial effects.[

The DSM now says nearly every normal boy is mentally ill -- but that homosexual boys are perfectly normal.

This is the Marxist playbook step-by-step, or'ideological subversion" as KGB master (and later defector) Yuri Besmenov revealed.

Isn’t it interesting that psychologists keep coming up with new abnormal syndromes almost daily, but yet the urge of wanting to have anal sex with members of the same sex is not only considered normal, but to be lauded and something to be have pride parades for.

“Big Pharma says,,,ka-ching!”

The education industrial complex likes this, too; more money (because students are suddenly mentally ill) and an excuse for the total lack of results.

” DSM-5 recently made things much worse when it turned normal temper tantrums into Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder.”

I actually believed the article, until they gave it away as SATIRE, with the above statement. If the above were true, there is NO WAY any parent would let a shrink anywhere near their kids, and the shrinks would be out of business.

...but they’re still in business, so this article must be some kind of April Fool’s joke - for if not, that is really scary.

I’m not so sure it is satire. The author goes on to decry the tendency to find something wrong with nearly every child and carelessly medicate it. The war on little boys continues...

Got new for you, it’s seniors too, mostly women that they target, OP. There are FDA WARNINGS ON ALL THIS CLASS OF DRUGS! YET DOCTORS ARE FAILING TO IMPART THAT INFO TO THEIR PATIENTS. My Endo is INSISTING I go on one. I tried Fosamax. HORRID side effects, thank GOD it was just a sample pack. Went in the trash. You react to 1, they just switch you to another, do NOT tell you these drugs even a 1 time use can be in your system a DECADE!

DITTO! I actually moved to stop the DEMORAT Over Load Disorder. I could not vote them out, so I moved 22 miles across the county line into a GOP CONSERVATIVE area. My taxes dropped, my car ins to boot. Utility bills also...but this is a smaller house. Less restrictions.

everyone is insane...

I said this when gun advocates said they were okay with mental health checks for gun licenses. Does anyone really want the gov deciding who's sane enough to get weapons? Just look who they're handing them to in the mideast.

This whole mental health thing is the real attack on diversity....diversity for the human mind and spirit. We're in science-fiction territory now, the world of protecting people from future crimes.

The thing is, there won't be anyone left to speak out. It's gone on for so long now that a very high percentage of parents were brought up on "meds", political correctness, and doing what's expected to get ahead.
