Black NBA Owner Holds “Blacks Only Parties, No Whites Allowed” – NBA Silent!
PCMD Gazette Blog ^ | May 17, 2014

Posted on 05/19/2014 12:31:44 AM PDT by Impala64ssa

In the wake of this week’s NBA proposed lifetime ban and $2.5 million fine for Donald Sterling, a longtime reader reminded me that I’d written about another NBA owner, a Black man, who held a party in which Whites were refused entry and turned away. And, yet, the NBA did nothing.

As Americas Feedom Fighters already pointed out, Black racism and bigotry against Whites, Jews, Mormons, and gays is tolerated by the NBA.

But a private racist conversation by a White owner is not. And here is an instance of a Black then-NBA owner whose public, deliberate racism was tolerated and ignored. Jay-Z a/k/a Shawn Carter was an owner of the Brooklyn Nets, an NBA Team, from 2003 through mid-April 2013. But, as I noted on this site, in February 2010, Jay-Z held a lavish party at the Merah club in central London, and banned White people from attending. The party, for music industry executives, reporters, and other Jay-Z ass-kissers was for Blacks only. Bouncers were instructed to refuse entry to Whites.

Reader Chris reminded me that I’d written about this, and noted:

“Wasn’t Jay-Z part owner of Brooklyn/New Jersey Nets when he threw that racist party you wrote about? I don’t remember any NBA controversy over that.”

I don’t either, but here’s a reminder from my 2010 post, “More Obama ‘Post-Racialism’ Courtesy of Jay-Z“:

“Jay-Z was caught up in a race row when bouncers at his BRITs after-showparty “banned” white people from boozing with the star. Chart legend Jay-Z threw a lavish bash but music industry executives, journalists and revellers were turned away from the roped-off area because of the color of their skin.” “Minders were spotted banning clubbers from the private event because they were not “of color”. . . . One clubber said: “The security guards were happy to let in all party-goers apart from the white people.”

Again, this was a deliberate, public, racist act by a Black NBA owner, as opposed to a private telephone conversation. I wonder how many current NBA owners would keep their teams if we heard everything they say in private. Probably none.

And remember, this is Jay-Z, who was a drug dealer, shot his own brother, and stabbed a record executive in 1999. He was indicted in 2000 over the stabbing and was given a plead deal in which he was allowed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor.

Click like if you are tired of the hypocrisy

Yet, the NBA had no problem with this racist, violent thug owning a team. Because, hey, he’s Black!

Did Donald Sterling (who is a jerk, but so is Jay-Z and so are many NBA owners) ever stab anyone? Shoot anyone? Deal drugs? Ban Blacks from his NBA games with security guards turning them away based on skin color?

Nope.

Blacks are Americas spoiled race..
Most take advantage of it.. Some do not...

Political progressive culture ruins everything it touches..
To wit: it has become hard for any black to get thru to me..

If a black is on TV probably (mostly) I will turn the channel..
Not blacks are racist opportunists but I refuse to separate them..
If a black is selling something I most likely will NOT buy it..

Never used to be that way... but things change.. some for the worse..
Regrettable but reality is a bitch..

If your black I don’t automatically hate you..
BUT I judge you more harshly than other cultures..
I wish this was not so..... BUT it is..

Jay-Z was used to help promote the move of the Nets from New Jersey to Brooklyn. He owned only 1/15th of one percent of the team and divested that small share in April 2013 so he could represent professional athletes. If what was written about the party he hosted is true, it’s reprehensible, but occurred during Commissioner David Stern’s tenure...the same David Stern who never sanctioned Donald Sterling.

So, don’t wait for the NBA to do anything. If this is true, then boycott them.

The NBA is a league that is not diversified. We need to have the starting lineup as the following: 75% whites, 12% blacks, 3% Asians, .1% Pacific Islanders and 5% some other race. (To me, Hispanics is not a race. That would saying Finnish is a race.)

When the NBA has that starting 5, then I'll watch it again. The Nets are one of the most hateful teams of mine with the Heat.

Sterling's lawyers can put forth a defense pointing out that the exclusion of people based on their skin color has a precedent in the NBA and that based on that precedent, he should not be sanctioned. It can be argued that what Sterling said was meant to be private, but what was done at the party was meant to be a very public act of racial exclusion.

How many Black Only party goers does it take to change a disco ball... etc

If that sentence is racist, well, it is leftist segregationist rhetoric.

I've been thinking about the situation. Sterling's "racist" comments actually demonstrated feelings of inadequacy about himself when seeing his girlfriend with blacks.

And now this? Is the PC crowd ever going to wake up?

Ironically, not having to associate with Jay Z IS a white privilege.

Are we talking about the same Stern who served up silver as the next commissioner who now revels in gaydom while stridently proclaiming outrage over Sterling private conversation?

How did the NBA owners get roped into Silver as commissioner?

Correct, Sterling can, ironicallt, claim disparate treatment and racial discrimination. He’s a scumbag, but he’s not stupid.

Not only that, by digging in and refusing to accept the penalty, he’s going to force the NBA to sue him. Which makes him the defendent and opens up all sorts of doors to conducting highly invasive discovery.

As an owner, her certainly knows where a lot of bodies are buried, and can point his lasers in the right direction. And can hire an army of PIs to dig out stuff as well.

Given how much dirty laundry he can expose, the NBA and Liberals may very well rue the day they went after him.

AND they really have to be careful with the whole White Privilege/Blacks can’t be Racist thing. Most people, if they’ve even heard of it, haven’t been deeply exposed to it and don’t take it seriously. This could make the old Silent Majority sit up, take notice and drive a major backlash.
