Detroit Black Pastors are speaking out against Judge Bernard Friedman's overruling of the 2004 voter approved amendment to the Michigan Constitution that defines marriages as between one man and one woman.
Despite the votes of 2.7 million voters who voted in favor of marriage protection, Friedman called the amendment "unconstitutional" and "irrational."

The whole Christian community needs to stand up and make their voices heard. What seems to be happening is that because their is little complaint within the church, many pastors are feeling like they can join the call for tolerance of homosexuals in the church. WHile they are welcome to come in to hear the word and seek discipleship, they should NEVER be given membership or ministry opportunities within the church until they have repented and cease the lifestyle. While some may feel that they are attracted to the same sex and not the opposite, once they participate in that, they are the same as any other sexual sin...it is all sin. Sexual sin is a defilement of our bodies that were created in the image of God. There is no way to make that “good”. God will never accept this blasphemy in His True Church. Scripture is clear. All sexual deviants and any who practice immorality will not enter Heaven unless they repent of their lifestyle. Repent means to turn from it, not just to confess it and go on sinning.

Granted this is a turf thing but I’ll take it.
If we can eliminate one grievance group its a good thing and we might even be able to make some inroads with blacks.
The truth is many blacks despise homosexuality. Haven’t you noticed all of the people coming to Michael Sam’s defense in his NFL chase are all white? Yes, blacks will still give the Democratic Party their typical 90% of their vote, but on this issue they will deviate from the leftist manual.
Bull crap. There is a very legitimate argument for separating true civil rights from fake victimization.

Just a few days ago, black city council members in Ypsilanti Michigan shut down a resolution to join a lawsuit against the Governor and Attorney General over their opposition to gay marriage.
I disagree, IM. These pastors are saying what needs to be said, and that is that there is no comparison between an immutable, natural characteristic and a choice about who you have sex with.

When are Judges going to get impeached for their insane rulings? Impeachment was intended to be used rather frequently and not as a random lightening bolt. The GOP does not fight. Sorry. Thems the facts.
