U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder speaks on stage during the annual meeting of the American Bar Association in San Francisco, California August 12, 2013
In a rare move, Attorney General Eric Holder took direct aim at U.S. Chief Justice John Roberts on issues of race during a commencement speech Saturday.
"Chief Justice John Roberts has argued that the path to ending racial discrimination is to give less consideration to the issue of race altogether. This presupposes that racial discrimination is at a sufficiently low ebb that it doesnt need to be actively confronted," Holder said, speaking at the historically black Morgan State University. "In its most obvious forms, it might be. But discrimination does not always come in the form of a hateful epithet or a Jim Crow-like statute. And so we must continue to take account of racial inequality, especially in its less obvious forms, and actively discuss ways to combat it."
Holder was referring to the Bush-appointed justice's famous quote from a 2007 ruling: "The way to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race."
The attorney general referenced the Supreme Court's recent decision upholding Michigan's ban on race-conscious admissions policies in public education or employment, in which Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote a scathing dissent against the 6-2 opinion and also criticized the frequently-quoted line from Roberts.

Holder won’t be happy until there’s a white man in every cooking pot and a white woman in every kitchen. /S
“We is in charge now,” I heard someone say in 2009.
The highest concentration of African-Americans is in the Southeast:
The question becomes this: Why is the AG inciting people to riot?
People still have the right to choose where they live...at least til agenda 21.
Let’s talk about the blatant hypocrisy of the AG. Speaking at an historically BLACK university, Holder decries inequality and the reverse Jim Crow laws where whites are discriminated against via Affirmative Action.
The race baiter speaks.
Showshoe Hares change color in the winter to match the snow.
They also have big hairy feet to stay on top of the snow.
Not much snow down south.
Holder is looking for racism everywhere, this is all they have. Divide and conquer.
I hate naggers like Eric Holder. Stop nagging, Eric!
Actual lol moment...
I cannot WAIT to see this a-hole in an orange jumpsuit.
And does this make Eric Holder somehow “right” on race?
The entire Caucasian population of the world is living rent-free in Eric Holder’s head, And they are all speaking with one voice to him, “Die, n****r, die!”
At least, that is the only voice he hears.
That said, I have very little charity for Eric Holder.
If one was to say that Holder sees the world through a colored lens - would that be racist?
I’m feeling a micro aggression coming on...
Holder nows Roberts is Obama’s bought-and-paid-for voodoo doll.
He can stick as many pins in him as he wants, and there will be no pushpack from Roberts.
Some people cannot tell the difference between racial and cultural discrimination.
What’s he going to say? “Yeah, Roberts is right...discrimination is wrong whether it’s against blacks, whites, or anybody...let’s not discriminate.” He’s gotta tell all the people, the takers, who put him and Obama there that it’s “social justice” to grab things from the producers and “redistribute” the goodies to the right sort of people. Holder’s people that is.
Speaker at white privilege conference promotes marxism to defeat racism.
We are at a very difficult point for the black populist politician. Their rhetoric is becoming less effective in the non black communities while prompting increased interracial violence.
The pill that is hard for them to swallow is that the highly segregated inner city neighborhoods most of them depend on for political power have collapsed into hip hop gangster ghettos where education, families and employment are largely absent. They are speaking their own language, organizing into their own gangs and are dependent on drugs for “employment”. There are still people in these neighborhoods who see the problems but they are overwhelmed and shamed by their neighbors and leaders for more than token support. The salvation of these neighborhoods must come from, first, a recognition of the problem and, second, the will to change things.
Instead a large majority are buying into the primarily white progressive concepts of white privilege and income equalization.
Holder puts an end to all that Content of Character stuff.
Obsessed! Cannot stop talking about race and differences and so-called injustice thereof. You could give him everything he wants to rectify his hell-bent desire for social justice and it will not be enough, ever.
This is a puppet show to make us think they are enemies.
Watch for the expanded use of the “disparate impact” standard in government efforts to identify and punish those deemed to have discrimminated on the basis of race. They are applying it to the banking industry. They can nail just about anyone they want to with this standard.
Make no mistake, Holder one of many that feels as he does.
They don’t hate ‘racism’, they hate you.
On one hand Holder calls people “cowards” for avoiding discussing race.
On the other he dismissively attacks those who do discuss race, just from a different perspective/opinion than his.
I’d say the guy is a complete moron for not understand that his actions in the second part drive the actions he decries in the first part. However, he’s not a moron and is certainly aware of that. He just doesn’t care because he knows he’ll never be called out on/for it.
That map is weird. I think the black population in Michigan’s UP is pretty small.
Obviously we need to start putting people in train cars and shipping them from green areas over to the not so green areas...
You know by “utilizing” the force of the almighty federal government...
Liberals Love to “preserve the racial enclaves inside of communties because it shows multiculturalism... But we have racial enclaves which MUST be dispersed in order to become Multicultural, which would be destroyign those vaunted rascaisl encklaves which would be racist.....”
Liberalism is indeed a mental disorder....
How many American Indians work for Holder? How many go to school with Obama’s children? Let’s put the endless pity party screws to Holder and ‘his’ people for a while and see how charmed they are...
“They’re counting on the GOP dropping the matter when the democrats are out of power “
But you know they will. Like the Dims take a break on trying to repeal the 22nd amendment when the GOP is in power.
The GOP got a contempt citation against Holder but it was `form over substance,’ like impeaching Clinton. They don’t care about holding Dems accountable for their crimes.
And the GOP-e doesn’t really care about IRS persecution of conservatives, or for that matter, gaining power, as long as their lobbyists can satisfy their real constituents: the US Chamber of Commerce, service unions and other NGOs.They know who butters their bread since conservatives stopped sending RINOs (like Boehner, McConnell and the rest of that crowd) campaign contributions because they aren’t in our corner.
This does not bode well for Holder. Rare are the individuals who get into a fight with the Supreme Court and win.
It will be highly entertaining when some of Holder’s extra-legal activities make it before the court next time. Though right now it is a bit much to hope that he ends up wearing prison pajamas, if Obama leaves office without giving him a pardon, it enters the realm of possibility.
Excellent points, you really nailed it. Thx!
I’m not sure the sarc tag was necessary. They’re already laying the groundwork, prepping for, forced “diversification” of neighborhoods.
There have been several threads on it the last 6-8 months or so. Cant remember which ones, tho.
I’m going to start asking a simple question to all of these race pimps... “Can you define any set of conditions where you would no longer see racism in every action, inaction, equality, or inequality?”
Actually, the scenario you present is entirely workable.
High birthrates in the racial/ethnic enclaves permit both the maintenance of their strength AND the “diversification” of areas outside the enclaves.
There’s even a term for it: colonization.
The question is, will the emigrants from the enclaves assimilate culturally into the colonized areas, or will they demand that the colonized areas conform to the culture they bring with them? And if there is friction/confrontation over it, what is the outcome?
Fascinating, from a sociological perspective. Those actually involved (on both sides of the equation) will probably not find it so fascinating tho.
“Eric Holder: Chief Justice John Roberts Is Wrong On Race”
This comes from an out of control AG, who has been held in contempt of congress, and has not enforced the laws of the US. He allowed black panther thugs to go free after they intimated white voters with weapons. Hopefully the day will come when justice will prevail and this thug will answer for not doing his job.
Sounds like it wasn’t a close vote so Roberts couldn’t be the only ‘racist’ Supreme Court judge who disagrees with Eric ‘black panther supporting’ Holder.
See, Roberts, you stupid *ss fool...no matter what you do they’ll come after you anyway. You gave America 0bummercare.
Eric Holder: Black Panther case focus demeans 'my people'
"Think about that," Holder said. "When you compare what people endured in the South in the 60s to try to get the right to vote for African Americans, and to compare what people were subjected to there to what happened in Philadelphiawhich was inappropriate, certainly that to describe it in those terms I think does a great disservice to people who put their lives on the line, who risked all, for my people," said Holder, who is black.
"Theres clearly evidence, overwhelming evidence, that your Department of Justice refuses to protect the rights of anybody other than African Americans to vote," the Texas Republican said. "There's a pattern of a double standard here."
The only reason race is still on the table is because Blacks just can’t take yes you are equal for an answer.
Documents recently obtained by Judicial Watch indicate that top political appointees at the DOJ were closely involved in the decision to dismiss the NBPP lawsuit, which multiple DOJ officials, including Holder, have denied in their sworn testimony. The group claims that the records, which include internal DOJ email correspondence, directly contradict testimony by Perez, who testified before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights that no political leadership was involved in the decision.
Judicial Watch secured the documents pursuant to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit: Judicial Watch v. Department of Justice.
The DOJ initially refused to turn over the documents, arguing they didnt show any political interference whatsoever. However, a federal judge disagreed with their assertion and in a July 23, 2012 ruling, Judge Reggie B. Walton in Washington, D.C. District Court ruled:
The documents reveal that political appointees within DOJ were conferring about the status and resolution of the New Black Panther Party case in the days preceding the DOJs dismissal of claims in that case, which would appear to contradict Assistant Attorney General Perezs testimony that political leadership was not involved in that decision. Surely the public has an interest in documents that cast doubt on the accuracy of government officials representations regarding the possible politicization of agency decisionmaking.
The DOJ filed its lawsuit against the New Black Panther Party following an incident that occurred outside a polling station in Philadelphia in November of 2008. Former President George W. Bush was still in office. According to video and multiple witnesses, members of NBPP stood in front of the entrance of the polling station, one holding a club, and intimidated voters by using racial epithets and questioning people of their voting intentions.
Eric Holder is wrong on everything.
I, I, I replace, then agree AAA.
