Do you think the GOP will take the Senate and House then give endless excuses why they can't repeal obamacare? Why they can't secure the border? Why they can't stop spending money we don't have?

If you take away the usual 10 point advantage given to democRATs because of a favorable media, it would be much worse.

It sounds like excuse-making, but until you get an executive signature on the legislation, it's not going to happen.

Don’t worry Dems, you may not be able to collect some kickbacks and political donations for a while, as those will be redirected elsewhere - but little else will change.

Defunding of Obamacare is repeal without El Presidente’s signature. Of course, that won’t happen either.

It IS excuse making. The republicans can simply not fund the communist agenda.

They won't do that, though, because they support it.

..even though we took the House, we were all told Romney was ahead in the polls to defeat Obama!

Hopefully we add to the House and take the Senate!

And Obama can play all the golf and basketball he wants for 2 years

There are legitimate reasons why a GOP controlled House and Senate could be unsuccessful in repealing 0bamacare or securing the borders. Should Congress pass those bills and 0bama responds with a veto it is possible for Congress to be short votes to override that veto.

HEartening news, but it is not over ‘til its over.

The vote fraud is still an issue.

We must talk to our family ,friends, acquaintances—and let them hear about how destructive the Democrat Communist Party is.

In five years they have ground this country to a halt economically, sabotaged the best health care system in the world, imperiled us in foreign affairs, armed drug cartels, left our men to die in Libya and armed Al Qaeda in Syria, then blamed it all on a video, and allowed our vets to die while waiting for care in the VA hospital system.

And let’s not forget doubling the price of gas, and lying about the inflation and unemployment rates consistently.

We cannot have a government that continually lies to us about everything.

Enough gaslighting—we deserve better.

but until you get an executive signature on the legislation

However, having the Senate and actually PASSING legislation through both chambers puts a tremendous amount of pressure on Obama to sign, especially if the public backs the legislation.

No more Reid to block legislation from coming to Obama's desk. It will make a large difference.

Correct. We need a veto proof majority. The judiciary, devoted to nothing but promoting sodomy, will march in lockstep with the Clown.

The Clown cannot be trusted to enforce any immigration bill. He has not even enforced his own death panels law!

Congress can still not pass funding for the rest of the communist agenda. They can do that now. They won't, because they are assured of the 'lesser evil' voter that will accept their excuses.

We need a veto proof majority.

And the liberal republicans still won't do anything. Remember.. the liberal republican leadership of congress spent MILLIONS attacking conservatives and conservative ideas this year.

And you think they will suddenly become conservative if they have a veto-proof majority? Laughable.

That would be a superlative name for the first bill passed by a flipped Congress. Just great.

BOLTAA

The Barack 0bama Leisure-Time Allowance Act.

As a heads up on the supposed tactic of voting to defund Obamacare and refusing to fund it regardless of vetoes — recall that the Democrats were perhaps even more enraged and filled with hatred about the Iraq war.

Their activists demanded that their congress people vote to defund. Refuse to fund it. They could not override a Bush veto, but they had that power of the purse.

They never used it. Bush was provided funding from start to finish for Iraq, and they hated that far more than the GOP hates Obamacare.

A Dem president would have stopped the Iraq war, in cooperation with a Dem Congress. A GOP president will do the same to Obamacare.

But the tactic of defunding something over a veto was rejected before and it will have to be rejected this time too.

Absolutely not. They won't make excuses. They just won't do those things and will spend their time attacking conservatives for being "extremists" and obstructionists.

I completely agree, but Obama caters to his controlling interests (Soros et al) before considering the wishes of Americans.

I’ve learned to contain my optimism. I’ll start perking up when I begin seeing support for radical Dems and 0bama in the 20-30% range; and when I see massive support for the repeal of the Unaffordable Care Act.

Yes Obama definitely caters to his controlling interests.

However if Obama is presented with legislation over and over again which is obviously beneficial to the country and he refuses to sign all democrats will be negatively impacted by public opinion including the 2016 nominee.
