Former Malaysian PM accuses CIA of covering up what really happened to MH370
DAily Mail, UK ^ | 19 May 2014 | By CANDACE SUTTON

"Planes Don't Just Disappear:

CIA and Boeing may be hiding information about missing MH370. Former Malaysian PM Dr Mahathir says airplanes like MH370 'don't just disappear'

If the plane failed or have been disabled then 'Boeing must know' Mahathir said the plane may have had its MAS airline markings removed

The air-sea search out of Perth for debris is a 'waste of time and money'

Missing Flight MH370 did not crash and its current whereabouts may be know to the Central Intelligence Agency and the Boeing aircraft company, Malaysia's influential former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad has claimed.

Dr Mahathir said the plane could have been switched onto autopilot remotely by the CIA if it had been hijacked.

'Remotely by radio or satellite links by government agencies like the Central Intelligence Agency, if terrorists attempt to gain control of the flight deck,' he wrote in an entry entitled 'What goes up must come down' on his blog

Much more at this very interesting article.

Many of us have been saying these thing here for a long time, but it's refreshing to have an "official," though ex, to tell some of the truth about this plane.

I never believed the plane was in the South Indian Ocean unless it was on its way to Antarctica, the only destination in that direction.

It seems more likely to me that the Malaysian government is covering up what really happened to MH370.

He did? Who knew. But in this case, I agree with his evaluation of the situation. Though this might be a bit “conspiracy theorist:

“For some reason, the media will not print anything that involves Boeing or the CIA,” he said.

The coverup probably includes both the Malaysian government and the military/industrial complex that runs things.

The question is, What are the covering? I’d really like to know.

My thoughts are that it was accidentally shot down by the Chinese air force...and is being covered up.

No evidence, just a gut feeling......

Planes Don't Just Disappear:

Except when they do. Big ocean, small airplane with radar and other electronic devices that never perform at 100%. Ships, much bigger than airplanes, have disappeared without a trace through the ages and still do so today.

I can’t imagine that could’ve happened and there was no debris. It’s hard to imagine a coverup, because it would involve too many people to keep it secret. Nothing makes any sense at this point.

I don’t think the CIA did it or ever knew about it in advance. But they probably know what happened to the plane but wherever it is, the Malaysian govt has known since the moment it disappeared. This is the reason for the five hours when they were supposedly unstaffed, but were actually trying to think up this story.

And the best thing to do is blame the CIA , which is now so incompetent and PC that it couldn’t have done even if it had wanted to.

Because it beats the hell out of admitting your own country's airline was to blame.

because it would involve too many people to keep it secret.

Only the Chinese government and actual pilots..and our own NSA.

What do you think the geo-political repercussions would be if it WAS discovered that the Chinese did indeed shoot down that airliner by mistake?

Based on what I’ve heard about (and from his own lips) this Mahathir character, I would not be surprised if he also blamed “the Jews”, the boogie man, and Godzilla.

It’s hard to imagine a coverup,

As a side note, with the current satellite technology in existance today, there is not one Cessna, or Gulfstream or air liner that is not being tracked and its whereabouts not known at any given moment.

The plane went down and it's whereabouts are known and its remains will reveal how and why it went down.........

There is a coverup going on and one only has to look at which country would suffer the most if it was revealed that it was shot down.......

The world could eventually excuse if it was pilot error and the Malaysian air lines would suffer the financial consequences. But there is no reason to believe that a cover up of this magnitude would be to save Malaysian Air..........

Just my two cents......

Indeed.

The lack of evidence proves how good the conspiracy/cover-up is.

The absence of proof. . .proves the conspiracy/cover-up.

But even that doesn’t make sense. Assume it was shot down by mistake. It would’ve been better, up front, to come up with some fabrication, maybe even say onboard terrorist or crazy person or mechanical failure or whatever, rather than risk getting caught later in a coverup.

One possibility might be that the Navy and the CIA got to test their new “Rail Gun” on the MH370 Boeing. Since the flight only carried Chinese and Malaysians they didn’t expect much serious technical blowback. That’s my guess and I’m sticking to it.

a tyrant; a crank; a long-time conspiracy theorist; an anti-western idiot who has blamed just about everything western in scapegoating any Malaysian failures before, during and since his time as head of Malaysia’s government

Or... they're in cahoots?

AS for nut cases, the entire fiasco is one giant bucket of worms. Sorry for the mixed metaphor, but it seems appropriate to this weird saga.

I don't know where MH370 is but I do know for sure that we're being fed lies from many directions, and no one is telling the truth--probably not to each other and definitely not to us.

As a frequent flyer and ocean crosser, I do care very much about airline safety. Can't imagine the horror of the MH370 passengers, who cared about safety too.

The Malaysians and this nutcase are doing everything they can to divert the blame from their own pilot[s] while admitting in a backhanded way that it had to have been one of their own pilots who did the hijacking.

When your own pilot spends the time and money to build a computer for the purpose of practicing EMERGENCY landings like the type of landing that would be used to ditch a plane in the waters off Indonesia, you are bound to be defensive and go into denial.

My assumption was that it WAS shot down mistake, I never made any attempt to imply that anything made sense.........

My opinion was just that, an opinion and at this juncture, it makes just as much sense as any of the other crap that is flying out there........

Once this mystery is solved, if it ever is, I'll gladly say I was wrong, if I was......

The question is, What are the covering? I’d really like to know.

Me too!

The more this drags on, it looks more and more like a conspiracy involving the USA, China, and possibly others. There was something on that plane that the USA didn't want to go to China, and that China doesn't want to admit they were going to get. Neither wants to admit anything.

Yeh -- 3 tons of mangosteens. The dark forces of the USA were trying to corner the mangosteen market and they couldn't let these 3 tons flood the Chinese market.

After 9/11 I thought companies had policies that forbid employees traveling together.

And now for some high drama:

All of those employees decided to go to China as a tech team and take advantage of the billions the Chinese gubmint offered them to defect.

Theory? Or fact? The Shadow Knows, but I rather like it.
