Second harassment accusation vs. Monica Wehby (OR)

Monica Wehby, the leading GOP Senate candidate in Oregon, was accused in December 2007 of harassing her now ex-husband during a divorce proceeding, according to a new report.

Neither Wehby nor her ex-husband, James Grant, were arrested in the incident.

It marks the second time during the last three days that Wehby has faced embarrassing stories on her personal life. POLITICO reported on Friday that a former boyfriend had accused Wehby of “stalking” him last year and “harassing” his employees, although no charges were filed in that episode, either.

The Oregonian reported on Monday that Portland police responded to a domestic disturbance call on Dec. 16, 2007, at the home Wehby shared with Grant, her then-husband, and their four children.

According to the police report, Wehby — who had “some alcoholic beverages” that evening — had allegedly struck Grant with a pad of paper during a verbal dispute.

The police officers observed “a slight red dot” on Grant’s face.

Grant told the police that Wehby “has pulled his hair, slapped him, and thrown items at item” during the last year as the couple’s marriage deteriorated.

“Stick a fork in her, she’s done.”

Oregon votes tomorrow. I hope enough people come to that conclusion quickly and vote for Conger!

I thought Oregon was a mail in state. Are you sure that anybody actually goes to the polls? I don’t think they have anything like that. All the ballots are done. I think they are setting her up for the General.

I just did a google search. I guess they have drop boxes throughout the state that people can drop off their ballot tomorrow. So I guess it is still possible to vote for Conger.

I looked at her picture. NOT GUILTY!

And if this disqualifies her then we can’t allow people to forget that Hillary beat the hell out of Bill on numerous occasions.

Actually, articles like this come out only when the democrats polling show a candidate to be viable.

Bush 43 and a dui, Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill, Mark Foley and sexting a congressional page in 2006, Senator Stevens of Alaska, Arnold Schwarzennegger and the casting couch in his youth, Mitt Romney and a high school hazing incident.

Democrat pollsters must show that Wehby is winning or why bother.

I am terribly concerned over the situation in Mississippi re: a blogger sneaking into the Nursing Home room of Thad Cochran’s wife. The Cochran team held this for two weeks before releasing it so they could “hurt” Chris McDaniel’s chances of winning, late in the campaign. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY NEWS ON THIS MISSISSIPPI SITUATION? It has even affected my sleep; seriously.

I am a Cochran supporter and I was a Romney support.

For Cochran to hold this info until the right time is simply good politics.

And the Gore team held the Bush dui until the last moment too and almost became president as a result.

And yes, the Obama campaign held up the 47% comment by Romney until just the right time.

Yes it is dirty politics. But bravo to each campaign manager, even Obama’s team. They won, it was good strategy.

Stick a fork in her, she’s done.

She threw a pad of paper at her soon-to-be-ex-husband seven years ago, and "she's done"?
