George Soros, Chairman of Soros Fund Management LLC during an economic speech in Frankfurt April 9, 2013.REUTERS A secretive dark money group backed by George Soros and other liberal mega-donors is looking to steer nearly $40 million to left-wing groups in 2014 to support high-profile political and policy efforts, according to documents obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
The documents reveal for the first time the Democracy Alliance's full portfolio of supported organizations, a large network of powerful liberal groups looking to win key electoral and legislative victories.
The Democracy Alliance connects major Democratic donors with some of the largest and most influential liberal activist groups in the country. Previous beneficiaries, such as the Center for American Progress and Media Matters for America, are set to get millions more in 2014. The list also reveals DA support for newer organizations, such as Organizing for Action, the advocacy group that succeeded President Barack Obama's reelection campaign.

I still can’t figure out why this greedy, corrupt bastard isn’t in prison. Somewhere in the world.
Crony capitalists to provide the dough.
Entitlement army to provide the votes.
It’s a tough formula to beat.
Only 40 mil., Soros is getting tight in his old age.
The GOP needs to find some cranky old white guy to trash Soros the way Hopalong Harry Reid is always trashing the Koch brothers. Come on McCain! Do something useful for once!
McCain is already on Soros' payroll. Georgie was the biggest contributor to McCain's "Reform PAC".
I wonder if the dems would trade one Soros for two Koch Brothers (Money wise that is)?
Those damn Kock brothers! Buying elections and all!
How is this not against the law? Foreign agents funding and participating in the election process for America. Isn’t the RICO act supposed to stop crap like this?
Ever see the video segment where Soros openly talks about aiding the Nazis hunt down his fellow Hungarian Jews...?
It does sound embellished, but he was BEAMING when he described it —really smiling, really energized, and gushing about “it really was the feeling of total and absolute power...”
He wasn’t ashamed in the tiniest. I would say he was almost nostalgic.
He hid nothing.
YouTube, 40 seconds.
PART of the segment in which Soros happily speaks of aiding in the death of very many other Hungarian Jews:
THE KILLER SLIDESHOW — BUBBA’S DEFINITIVE REVENGE
(The godfather of the “Conservative” Foundation Movement ruled with the majority in Roe and Doe.)
Matt Bai’s “The Argument: Billionaires, Bloggers, and the Battle to Remake Democrat Politics”, is a candid account from an insider to the party of the enemies of life, of the struggles among six groups vying for control of Democrat Party fund-raising and platform direction prior to the 2006 mid-term elections, including:
* the Daily Kos and other blogs, and
* a little-known but highly influential assemblage of three billionaires and sixty millionaires, The Democracy Alliance.
Ostensibly concerned with attempts of Democrat Party outsiders to wrest control from the party old-guard using netroots, powerful new means of fund-raising & connectivity centering around the internet, the author of “The Argument” ends up admitting that, by the 2006 mid-term elections, despite the influx of new blood, the Democrat Party was as far as ever from convincing votersor itselfthat it has any ideas or programs that make it superior to, or different from, the Republicans.
Of special interest in “The Argument” is a PowerPoint® presentation nicknamed “The Killer Slideshow”, formally titled The Conservative Message Machine’s Money Matrix. Compiled over a period of about a decade by a leftist policy wonk, Clinton administration treasury official Rob Stein, the 2004 presentation used charts, diagrams and other graphic aids to detail the rise of the conservative foundation movement, (with seminal fundraising and informational apparatus such as direct-mail, training institutes, think-tanks, journals and talk-radio), between the defeat of Barry Goldwater by President Lyndon Baines Johnson in 1964, and Ronald Reagan’s 1976 Republican primary challenge to President Gerald R. Ford.
The Killer Slideshowno one was allowed to view it without signing a non-divulgence agreementtook as its starting point the August, 1971 memorandum from future Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, Lewis F. Powell, Jr., to Eugene B. Sydnor, Jr., Chairman, Education Committee, U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Titled “Attack on the American Free Enterprise System” [ http://with-friends-like-these-who-needs-enemies.org/Powell_memorandum.html ], the confidential memorandum was held to be the original inspiration for the system of conservative foundations, considered by Democrat Party operatives in The Argument to have locked down Republican Party domination of the Presidency for nearly thirty years between Carter and Obama, only interrupted by Clinton.
The presentation’s point was to exhort leftist donors into replicating the Republicans’ long-term, Presidential electoral success. (Regardless of the slideshow’s ultimate effect, it is worthy of note that the Obamanistas project a forty-year reign, longer than that of the Democrats during the Depression period 1933-1954. Democrat campaign strategist James Carville has argued quite persuasively that the political statistics make Democrat domination of the Presidency, the most likely outcome of the current economic and political struggles.)
