It's VERY unlikely that Bevin will win out-right today... but, if Mitch doesn't get 50% of the vote? Bevin will get 2 more months to make his case... If a run off is required, it will be held in July.

A new poll out yesterday had Mitch at 48%,, Bevin at 34%, with 18% UNDECIDED!

It's POSSIBLE, IMO... that Mitch will be held under 50%. That alone would be an earthquake in the Party.

So... ALL of you registered Republicans (You have to be, to vote) Get OUT THERE, and do your DUTY!!!!

Skink? Please hit the Kentucky Ping list!

Are there runoffs in Kentucky? With only two major candidates I don’t see how one would happen even if there was.

If Bevin loses, I would love to see him get over 40%!

There are, actually, FOUR candidates on the Republican Primary ballot. I don’t know who the othe two are... but, I hope they have VERY large families! :-)

Maybe the conservatives will vote and the rest stay home...turnout here in PA where I am voting today is very light...I guess around 15 percent based on what I saw this morning when I voted.

Well that’s good. So if people are pissed at Mitch but don’t like Bevin either because of Mitch’s smear campaign, they can still vent.

What has he done,
This Son-of-a-Mitch,
To protect We, the People
From Reid and Obama?

Does Kentucky want
SIX more years of McConnell
Bi-Partisan Horse Puckey?

I think we had this discussion, in Texas. I'm not at all interested in any symbolic loss with >X%. A loss, is a loss... and McConnell and company won't care. If he wins by 0.1%? He'll treat it like mandate and go on as if NOTHING happened.

Today, we need to hold him to 49.99%... and, in July? We need > 50%.

That's ALL that matters.

MM is the easy favorite today.

The TP’s best shot is in MS.

We tried to oust RINO Cornball Cornyn, in TX. Unfortunately, we didn't have one strong, stand-out candidate to do that. Corny barely got 50% :(

Bevin at least has name recognition, support from Senate Conservatives Fund and has caught the attention of national talk hosts.

Praying Midge gets under 50%.

#DitchMitch!!

“If he wins by 0.1%? He’ll treat it like mandate and go on as if NOTHING happened.”

Oh, you’re absolutely right. A win is a win. But a high percentage for Bevin would make Thad Cochran very nervous, and Pat Roberts, and Lamar Alexander. As well as all the worthless moderates with piss poor voting records who are up for reelection in 2016.

There’s always another election. And good showings means more money for challengers. The Establishment wants the Tea Party crushed and their funding sources eliminated.

We are a hardy, free-born race,
Each man to fear a stranger;
Whate’er the game, we join in chase,
Despising toil and danger.
And if a daring foe annoys,
Whate’er his strength and forces,
We’ll show him that Kentucky boys
Are alligator horses.

Oh Kentucky, The Voters of Kentucky!

Bevin could beat the Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes in the mid-term election but I don't think Mitch could.

We are already seeing anti-Grimes tv ads, sponsored by Mitch.

I think, either Bevin or McConnell will beat Grimes in November. She's a milk-toast loser. But, I agree that Bevin would have an easier time of it.

Grimes will beat him in November. It will be a disaster for the GOPe, but WE will be blamed for DARING to challenge him

I don’t think we had 18% undecided, either. That’s a big plus for Bevin.

MM is the easy favorite today.

SHOULD be the favorite... but, you never know till the voting's done.

I swear... around where I live? I have not seen ONE SIGN, or bumper sticker for McConnell. Not a single one.

Meanwhile, there are several very large Bevin signs posted at key locations... and, just in the past two weeks, I've seen a dozen or more Bevin bumper stickers.

Of course, mines been on my car for 6 weeks or so... Mostly, parked at the Louisville airport, near the 3rd floor elevators. :-)

I'll be phone banking this afternoon.

My wife and I will be out voting for Matt this afternoon. This will be our first time voting in KY as we recently moved to the state.

Let’s hold Mitch under 50%... or better yet get Bevin over 50%. =P
