Anyone from GA got the good, bad, and ugly on who won last nite? Any good conservatives make or keep the nomination?

I’m in Georgia. The options weren’t great... regardless there has been a lot of talk about Nunn and Carter winning in the fall (what is this 1976???) but if you look at the numbers almost double the number of votes were cast in the GOP primaries as the Dem primaries. You could say that the dems stayed home but Georgia has been a red state for a while now and I just don’t see it changing.

A democrat is a democrat . . is a democrat . is a democrat. They campaign conservatively like Mary Landrieu of La and can’t wait to get to DC and vote for every pro-abort, pro-tax, pro-gay bill they can.

Looks like Conservacide voters did us in again. The Death of the Tea Party and Conservatism is coming primily because we’re splitting votes in every primary. It just keeps happening, and nobody wants to budge because theirs is the ONE TRUE Conservatice.

Some of these folks running had no chance in hell - not a chance in HELL. Conservacide voters blew their votes on them, anyway. Now we’ll get a moderate in a Red State.

The same will happen when we run a bunch of one-percenters again in 2016 who refuse to ever drop out. Then we’ll get Jeb Bush or Chris Christie because Ben Carson/Rick Santorum/some other guy who can’t possibly win is the “only real” Conservative.

Yeh with Broun and Handel out of the Senate race I guess we will have to vote for Jack Kingston in July. I am afraid David Perdue would be Saxby’s third term.

I wonder if this dynamic is repeating itself in multiple states. If it is the Dems will be goin' down in flames!

“Anyone from GA got the good, bad, and ugly on who won last nite? Any good conservatives make or keep the nomination?”

Pretty much a status quo election. That’s how Georgia is though. God bless this State, but it doesn’t take a whole bunch of electoral chances - normally.

I need someone to tell me if the Top-3 Senate candidates are headed to a runoff?

And if these numbers have any reflection on what is to come then maybe that Nunn lady is in for an epic loss.

re: “Conservacide voters blew their votes on them, anyway. Now we’ll get a moderate in a Red State.”

Amen, and amen, and amen. And, on top of it, they’ll feel righteous and courageous for doing so. Some would rather have the country go down in flames than change their view.

I know Jack and I like him, but I won’t be voting for him in a run-off just as I didn’t vote for him in the Primary. I’ve helped his campaigns and raised money for him before this election. I just think it’s time for him to retire.

I’ve lived in Ga my whole life. I’ve been just about everywhere in it. I’ve never seen a peach orchard that I am aware of.

I think it’s a mythical tree.

Well I went through Kingston’s voting record and he votes the right way. I think we are all going to be sorry if Perdue gets elected. He’s a businessman and he will very quickly be voting for all the big business corporate stuff like amnesty.

don’t forget some of these candidates are:

1. paid to split the vote (see McCain/Thompson/Huckabee)

2. KNOW they will lose and just want to make a name for their own personal gain

3. crazy
