That’s easy.... when you can edit the video before releasing it.
LOL! These cowboys, “preppers”, and tactical “experts” really make me laugh. They can practice and work on their tactics daily for hours up hours—thousands of times. In a real SHTF situation or street warfare, it won’t mean crap. Sure, they may be better mentally prepared for what may happen—but a lone sniper shot from 300 yards away can put one of them down just as much as the next man.
Tactics & training & prepping be damned!
I attended a CCW course a few years back, and one of the instructors was a leo who brought a video for us. It wasn’t part of the course but was entertaining to watch. He prefaced it with, if you ever run up against a guy like this you should probably just run. The vid was a scene from “Miami Vice” and a very accomplished shooter was playing a bad guy. In the scene he is being held with hands up at gunpoint by a Miami PD officer, and then draws and shoots the “officer” in a move too fast for the camera to catch. If you want to see really fast and accurate shooting, look for old Bill Jordan videos. He was a Border Patrol agent who worked with a S&W revolver. In one vid, a volunteer from the audience holds a cocked Colt single action, and Jordan draws and fires before the other guy can fire. Of course, then there is Bill Munden and Jerry Miculek.
The guy wears underwear and poops just like the rest of us - has good and bad days and his farts smell just as bad....cept they are camo (or khaki) colored....which is much cooler
Awesome. If only I had the time and resources to practice as much as he has...I still wouldn’t be that good, but I’d really be happy.
That Miami Vice shooter was Jim Zubiena, I believe.
No I’m not, he obviously knows his “stuff”. But you hit the nail on the head with your reference regarding the idol worship of such people.
There are about 5 guys I can think of off the top of my head who have all kinds of “tactical videos” and training courses they offer. I won’t waste space mentioning their names because it’s not worth it—but only ONE of them do I actually have respect for since he actually served in the Military and has the background/resumé to prove it.
The others are gear-queer mall-ninja wannabe self-promoters who relish the idol worship of their brain-dead followers and have very suspect histories when it comes to their “experience”. They all have to be badder than the rest and are borderline obscene. They’ve also sold themselves out to promoting product lines, so you’ll never get an honest answer with them feeding you their money lines.

Yeh you and I will be just as prepared. I’m still laughing. That guy would kill us both and then go out to dinner. If you ever have to face that guy just shoot yourself and save him the trouble. :-)

That’s the only way you will ever get a chance to shoot Zero is from deep cover. That guy is training for up close and personal.
I used to be a track star in High School so maybe I can outrun him. LOL!
I liked the last draw-from-concealment shoot. couldn’t get to a part of pulling a jacket cleared from behind with my left hand.
I practice with my long shirt by doing a clockwise circle with my right hand to get my shirt between my holster and waist -making sure it’s cleared before my draw.
Thank you, I never knew who the shooter was, but I heard he had to keep trying to slow down so the camera could catch it.
Unfortunately, I do not have anywhere that I can practice live-fire draw.
Neither do I (Unless I drive north for 2 hours). My Wife and I still do as many dry-fire draws as we can per week. Basic five step stuff.

It’s impossible to find public land where someone can go shooting around Tidewater Virginia. Used to be, I could just go out to the swamp, pull onto some old road, and shoot all day. Nowadays, there’s a Game Warden there within 10 minutes of gunfire.
In the early 80’s I was serving with the 6th Marines and the Commanding Officer, Col Bill Keyes, later LtGen and President/CEO of Colt, arranged for me to attend a course at “Gun-Sight Ranch”, Pauldan AZ. The famous Col Jeff Cooper was the owner and Chief Instructor. He taught me a very important lesson; Smooth is Fast!
Cooper believed and taught “Practical Shooting”! These video clowns only impress the unlearned, untrained and those who have never served a day in combat!
