A police officer, a paramedic, a rabbi, a nurse and a Boy Scout leader were among at least 70 people arrested in the New York City area in recent weeks as part of a sweeping investigation into the anonymous trading of child porn over the Internet.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which led a five-week investigation ending last week, planned to announce Wednesday that it resulted in charges against at least 70 men and one woman. Officials call it one of the largest local roundups ever of individual consumers of child porn, and a stark reminder that they come from all segments of society.
Consuming child porn “is not something that is just done by unemployed drifters who live in their parent’s basement,” said James Hayes, ICE’s New York office. “If this operation does anything, it puts the lie to the belief that the people who do this are not productive members of society.”
Advances in technology and computer capacity have allowed child-porn collectors to more easily amass vast troves of images and to exchange files with each other directly, authorities say. Ok, but it looked like, with that number, computers and ipads of people who didn’t get arrested were seized.
When you have a nation that celebrates sexual kinks as a legit part of your “identity”, then you get people that feel comfortable showing how depraved we humans can really be.
Since every show on television is mostly about sex these days, what do we expect? There isn’t much left to the imagination except crap that most people wouldn’t even think of doing.
It makes me ill that so much emphasis is on sex these days. Everything is measured by sex, commercials sells sex, many parents allow their kids to dress like sluts and whores. Guys, including white ones, can’t keep their damn pants on to walk. It’s just freaking weird!
And don’t get me started on the parents! So many of them are stupid or brain dead to allow their kids to do some of the things they do.
How about let’s invite a few dozen kids (under 16) to our home and have a tattoo party and don’t let other parents know about it? Honey, where did you get that tattoo of a marijuana leaf on your butt? I’m not kidding!
If they’re found guilty they should be hanged.
BUT! What the hell does this have to do with homeland security and immigration? The system is being abuse. And don’t think for a minute it can’t be abused against all of us. Don’t piss off someone who’s brother works for the NSA. You’ll be busted for something.
Put them in general population & announce what they’re in for.
The problem with this country is so many people will say “Well, if spying against the citizens is used for things like this, then I’m all for it.” That’s the exact same thing as the “spies” saying “We may have to arrest some innocent people to prevent another 911”. I wait for the flames that will prove my point.
DEATH TO ALL CHILD MOLESTERS! Just don’t shred to constitution to catch them.

The kids being brainwashed today with 24/7 raunch will think nothing of adults having sexual contact with kids in 10 years. I seriously think many kids aren’t really sure NOW if they understand that it isn’t ok.
Everyday there is another story of a teacher with a student, or some story of some “transgendered” loon wanting to use the girls or boys room. The number of “gay” themed books for kids and young adults is skyrocketing, not to mention all of the porn on Earth on a device that fits in their pocket! It’s just non-stop sex while they are being forbidden from playing Tag or being able to eat what they want during lunch.
Part of me thinks this bust was just all for show, and eventually some future Holder will start to make the cops look the other way here too.
I’ve read the author Melody Beattie who deals with codependency issues.
She wrote in one of her books that anyone who has ever been sexually abused needs to go to a sex addiction meeting.
I gather from her writing that the victims of sexual abuse apparently grow up to be the perps.
I guess like the boys that Jerry Sandusky abused.
The sexual abusers of children are apparently creating future sexual abusers.
In some cases, yes. I’ve seen cases where that is not necessary, but they still need to come to grips with what happened. And many do not necessarily have been abused. In fact, the majority have been exposed to sensuality, and are unable to deal with it at a young age.
1. This can’t be true; we all know that gay scout masters pose no threat.
2. These guys are just born this way. The problem is societies rules (based on religious teachings!) that prevent the free expression of love in all its forms, including sex with children, animals, dead people, dead animals…all violating the rights the sexually different (perverted is a hate word!)

They come from “all segments of society,” so don’t worry about your son’t Scout leaders.
I fear in 20 years people will wonder what the big deal was.
I know what people may think reading that but remember back 20 years ago from now and ask yourself if you would have believed-
Gay boy scouts?
Gays adopting children and getting married?
In a church?
Cross-dressing boys in elementary school?
Teachers who’ve had a sex change?
Openly queer Marines and NFL players?
