Clearly immigration was why we lost in 2012. It had nothing to do with a milquetoast Republican candidate who had been on both sides of so many issues that a good portion of Republican voters just stayed home. No, forget the moderate candidate. It was the Hispanic vote that killed us!

I think it’s Rush that says these Congress People end up thinking this way because Lobbyists, highly paid lobbyists, tell them this stuff, I doubt if it is Cornyn’s constituents who I’m sure will inform him on this topic.

I disagree. The GOP immigration position should be embraced and repeated loud and clear—OPEN BORDERS, NO BENEFITS. You are welcome to come, stay as long as you like. You will not be hunted down, you will not be deported. But neither will you receive free health, education, or WIC vouchers. Is this policy racist, hateful? Hardly. It is essentially the same immigration policy our country employed during the great immigration waves of the 19th century. All of my grandparents came to this country during this time. None were offered nor expected nor accepted one dime of public assistance. All succeeded. They found jobs, worked very hard, bought or built homes, bred and raised large families, built schools, churches, and thriving communities. Why is this so difficult to understand?

Cornyn has always been an open borders traitor but he does a good job of hamming it up to get conservative votes
Cornyn will win without my vote. I’ll write in Sarah Palin for Sen. and then vote for the TEA Party candidates down ballot.
