Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett was arrested at a Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport bar on Wednesday for refusing to cooperate with airport police who were called to the scene, an airport official said.
Jarrett was taken into custody at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Northern Lights Grill in the main terminal, Metropolitan Airports Commission spokesman Patrick Hogan said. He said the officers reported that Jarrett seemed intoxicated, acted belligerent and refused to follow orders.

Wonder if this would have happened to him when he worked at CNN? (or was it MSNBC?) Whichever it was ..
I thought he left Fox to go to another network.
Drunk and pissed off. I know what that is like. We are all walking around pissed off, even if we are not aware of it.
Hey Greg! Time to go on the wagon.
Fox News tells us Gregg Jarrett requested time off for personal reasons and Fox obliged. Jarrett has been with FNC since 2002, joining from MSNBC.
You vill follow orders or you vill be jailed for your own safety and the safety of the state.
Some folks need a cocktail or two before flying. I can’t help but wonder, though, if some progressive recognized him and bought him one more to put him over the line (set him up) and called about the belligerent drunk.
And the Associated Press thought this was News worthy???
STAY the shell away from the twin sewers
I AM NOT PISSED OFF DAMMIT!
And the Associated Press thought this was News worthy???
“And the Associated Press thought this was News worthy???”
If he worked for CNN or PMSNBC, I am sure nothing would be said.
I take it that he was deficient in his visible enthusiasm for the regime.
At least he doesn’t have a wide stance.
Take this as a wakeup call,
To stay away from alcohol.
“...acted belligerent and refused to follow orders....”
As every REAL American should, when faced with democrat/liberal/fedthug fascism.
Hell, that tradition goes back to Lexington Green.
Time to reclaim it.
Was a breathalyzer or other testing done to confirm intoxication? If not, AP, shaddup!
Especially when you're sh*t-faced and obnoxious.
Did they go to his house and shoot his dog?
Really? Only a news man from a non Obama network. All the other dronesw never get in the media.
I just pointed out Jarrett’s photo to my wife, noting that he had been arrested at the Minneapolis airport...she said, “Not toe-tapping, I hope?”
(We lived in Idaho for several years on a little acreage I came to call the Narrow Stance Ranch.)
Did he refuse to give Shepard Smith a parking spot?
Whoa, when did he grow the beard?
He was fair, but imbalanced.
Never drink when flying. Too many people drink through delays and get hammered.
He was drinking....look at his face
I would never figured him for that
Myself.....I’m combative with popo and I never drink
Little tax collectors..they pull me over late in my truck just to see if I’m drinking....old guy....pickup....rural.....out late
They hassle and ask questions none of their business
They should study how civil wars go for folks in their line of work
Sounds like he has a substance abuse issue.
Good grief. Not everything is a political plot of some sort. Sounds like he might have a problem. Hope he gets help.
If you have to be stuck at an airport for extended hours, you can’t do much better than MSP. Lots of options for both eating and shopping. Mall of the Americas is just a short ride on public transportation.
He was also charged with impersonating Shepard Smith.
I did the same thing with C-SPAN’s Washington Journal. Starting the morning off with deranged liberals spouting off on TV was not a fun way to go through life. My mornings are much better now.
He probably had some person card him for a drink and he bitched about it.
Then the girlyman bartender called the police.
Hell I thought journalists were supposed to be hard drinkers and get in your face.
Just another step in the anti-male, planned decline of the former USA.
Well, that might have been revevant information.
Last time I had a problem with TSA was in Minneapolis.
The Brownshirt did everything he could to get me to say something provocative.
This guy WANTED to arrest someone and I was his target.
Good grief .not every post is a serious analysis ..sometimes its just a little sarcastic jab that makes a bigger point —— your sense of humor by pass was apparently successful.
Maybe he needed a cocktail or 5 before he got sexually assaulted on his way to board his plane.
Yup, one drink at high altitudes might(?) equal 2 at the bar.
Call Val and everything will be ok.
tick... tick... tick...
I must have missed something...
What exactly was the crime this gentleman committed?
Who did he harm?
What is the cost of the damage?
Was it a case of someone having too much to think?
The prosecutor need not prove any harm of damage.
Well, they got him good on that one.
Someone must have recognized him. How dare he show his non-Obama-supporting face at a public venue.
He will pay for this travesty.
He was also accused of inebriation.
What was his blood alcohol level?
Surely the officials have some sort of evidence of some sort of wrongdoing, or is that not really necessary anymore?
Poor man. I always thought he seemed nice.
No one should be drunk just after noon. I think that this will prove to be just one of those arrests that are actually made to protect the arrestee from himself.
They’ll probably drop the charges or let him plead to something minor.
It’s a shame. I heard Glenn Beck mention it on his program this morning. Beck seemed to be aware from his tenure with Fox News that Gregg Jarrett had a problem (alcohol, he implied). He said that Jarrett had requested time off to deal with it, but apparently had not made it there yet (presumably rehab). He said he hoped for Jarrett to get well.
