Cornyn singled out Kentucky’s junior senator, tea party darling and 2016 presidential hopeful Rand Paul, for pitching in with McConnell’s reelection effort.

“Rand Paul has done an admirable job of trying to bring the party together,” Cornyn said.

No mention of Sen. Ted Cruz. Texas’ other senator, like Paul, is a tea party freshman with White House ambitions. But unlike Paul, Cruz has been quietly at war with the party’s establishment.

They sure got that right, the GOPe knows who is theirs, and who isn't.

The other 75% chose not to tell the truth.

Rand Paul is a political whore. He will never get a vote from me.

Somehow I don’t think crowing about “crushing” the tea party is going to win over very many conservatives in November. Who came up with that strategy?

I’m thinking that many of the 36% who voted for Bevin and against McConnell will set out the General Election in November or vote for Grimes.

That 25% of Bevin voters who said they will not vote for Mitch in November could be just enough to cause him to lose the General Election. I won’t shed any tears if that happens.

John Cornyn is a snake in the grass. He's gets a lot of flak on his Facebook page...stuff you would see on FR. He is becoming less popular and people are beginning to notice he's a hypocrite.

He's RiNO GOPe.

If that happens, McConnell’s turkey is cooked and he will be applying
for a job at Trent Lott’s Lobbying Firm in the very near future.

I estimated that it would only take about 10-12% of conservatives
staying home to cook his goose.

If the polls show The Gobbler behind in the polls 2-4 weeks before
elections, the GOPe’s in DC will force The Gobbler to announce he
will not seek re-election to his leaderless post, in an effort to save the seat.
