(CBS SF) The Alameda County Sheriffs Office will no longer honor requests by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to hold suspected undocumented immigrants in jail who would otherwise be eligible for release, joining a growing wave of backlash against the controversial policy.
In a memo Wednesday, sheriffs Capt. Colby Staysa ordered that any inmates held in Alameda County jails who were not being otherwise held for further criminal proceedings be immediately released, and to no longer accept immigration detainer requests from ICE.

OK, but release all of these criminal invaders in Capt. Colby Staysa's neighborhood. Close to his kids school. And in the parking lot of his grocery store. His church parking lot. At his favorite liquor store.
Isn’t usually the other way around? The feds demanding that Illegal Aliens be released?
Illegals should be deported as soon as found.

(Some thought Obama would be no worse than Romney. So we have less jobs and more food stamps people.)
When the adults get back in charge these municipalities should be informed that federal funds will no longer be forthcoming. Also, people harmed by the released illegals should be able to sue the towns in federal court.
Why do I have to obey the law?
Oh right - because I’m white.

They are simply trying to outdo each other in harming the people who they are supposed to protect.

And if Captain Colby Staysa gets hit by an illegal alien drunk driver when he is off duty, see if the needle on my “give a crap” meter moves at all.
Great idea. Handcuff them to the handrail of a nearby Federal building and call the U.S. Marshall service. That way there’s no discussion whether releasing them is “aiding and abetting” an illegal alien as defined in the Federal Code.
Take ‘em out back and shoot ‘em?
