Our elections are a freakin’ joke. Hussein, (No, the other one that used to rule over Iraq) conducted fairer elections than we are now conducting in this **** hole.
College kids voting where they go to school out of state. I live in a college town and the polling places are overrun with non-resident college students who probably also vote absentee back home.
The vast majority are Democrats, no doubt.
By how many votes did BO carry Virginia? By how many did McAwful get elected governor?

There was a period in my life when I lived in a variety of states, and registered to vote in each. The ONLY state that notified the prior state was Virginia, advising CA to take me off its rolls. I was copied on that letter. I am sure, however, that 35 years later I am still voting in Chicago.
You know they know, because it's not in the story.

You need to look at the precincts that submitted their tallies late.
I suspect you’d find that they were in Richmond, Hampton, Alexandria/Arlington and certain areas of Fairfax and Prince William Counties.
Where the people counting the ballots waited until they knew how many votes needed to be manufactured without it seeming too obvious they were doing so.
Seems logical to me. Sounds like the 2004 vote in WA State, when Christine Fraudoire (D) “defeated” Dino Rossi (R). Every time Rossi had a lead, election officials in King County (ultra liberal Seattle) would suddenly “discover” a box of uncounted ballots, that coincidentally, were just enough to put the DemoNIcrat, ahead. I really fear that control of elections have been lost, in our country :(
Now it is stated by retrograde minds (different from low information) that accuse just because they don't like the outcome. Much is LOL, but it really is sad that people on my side are so brain dead.
Here is the reality to you since you have no evidence, except the vote changed in 45 minutes (guffawing at the moment). Northern Virginia is heavily democrat and casts about a third or more of the vote for the entire state. If you take away northern Virginia's votes, the republican would win every time, but you can't do that.
Here are some percentages for you to consider: Obama won in Arlington with 69% of the vote (I'm actually surprised it wasn't higher); Alexandria gave 71% of the vote to Obama; in Fairfax County (if it was a city, would be the 10th largest in the country), Obama won 60% of the vote. That is more than a 20 point advantage (because of the third parties) in the state's most populous region. A republican will never win in Virginia if the democrat beats the republican in Northern Virgnia in a landslide as did Obama. Northern Virginia has changed alot in the last 20 years. There are many foreign born in this area. Depending on the source, there are 20% to 30% foreign born in this area - many are Asian, especially Korean, Vietnamese and Indian. Those groups used to vote republican, but now they are solidly democrat.
I live in a part of Fairfax county, that one would think would be solidly republican, but it is not. Many of these people are government contractors or work for government contractors, not to mention government employees themselves. They vote democrat for obvious reasons. I know my area and my neighborhood and these people love to vote democrat. I see it up close.
Consider this: Virginia Beach, which is where I grew up and most of my family still is, crawls with military personnel and CBN. I realize many military vote by absentee in their home state, but many register locally. Romney only won with barely 50% of the vote in that city. That area has been trending democrat in the last decade, too. For Romney to have won, he needed to win Va. Beach handily and cut Obama's margins in Northern Virginia, which he did not do. that is why he lost. Not because of fraud. In Virginia, you need ID to vote; there is no early voting, with the exception of the normal absentee vote (you need to have a reason, such as work, vacation, hospital, etc.)
FreeRepublic used to be a place that hosted a lively and intelligent discourse. Now, it is a place in which people just spout all kinds of embarrassing blather.
Thanks for the reply. Respectfully, I never claimed to have evidence, nor made any statements of fact. I did say that this story seemed to “confirm my suspicion”. Further, ad hominem attacks undercut the validity of the person, who makes them. It’s fine to disagree with a point of view, but terms like “retrograde minds” and “brain dead” undercut the argument.
Well, I understand and my apologies if I offended. Yes, I know you did not claim you had evidence, so why make the charge? That was my whole point. Wild, unsubstantiated claims do reflect on the person making them, too. I get it - it’s easy to do, but all of us should do better to be thoughtful and that includes me. Have a good weekend.

With all due respect to a fellow Old Dominioner, I’d like to point out some aspects of your previous statement that may be inaccurate...
We do not have to provide picture ID to vote. Every time I have voted since moving to this precinct, I have provided not only my non-picture ID Voter’s Registration Card but also my Driver’s License as well as Military ID. The worker always states that I do not need to show picture ID but I always insist they check mine to verify I am who I say I am.
I have also “early voted” and it’s as easy as waltzing into the Voters Registrar’s office in the county and voting. No need for verification of reason for voting early. No one checks, no one swears to “tell the truth”, no one cares.
Lastly, I can see why some would discount yelling “voter fraud” after an election loss as being lazy, delusional, pathetic, etc. until we saw what happened in the recent election between Herring and the other guy. It was Minnesota all over again. And the “extra votes” were found in Fairfax Co.
Seems awfully convenient, you have to admit.
S/he’s ‘Technically Correct’, as it was spoken... There is not a ‘smidgen’ of voter fraud. It’s an entire swamp.
