Anybody want to guess what a picture of the kid’s teachers would look like? This is simply ridiculous. We get the other side of the coin when it comes to our grand daughter.
We are asked if she is eating enough because she is so skinny and short. I just tell them that she eats a balanced meal at home, so if she isn’t they need to check the school’s meals.
Then I let them know that I was shorter than 98% of the kids in my class, and so skinny that they called me bird legs, and just look at me now. Lots of extra pounds. Probably be best to leave the kid alone.
When I started to try to eat healthy to please the nagging adults, I gained weight. When I ate only what I wanted I was skinny. Could be the school should just but out.

Kids would be a hell of a lot better off today getting involved with Khan academy on the internet along with studying with parents and neighborhood kids. The story doesn't say she was told she was "fat". The story says that the girl was told that she was "one pound" "over weight".
