Next, members of the Alpha Phi sorority in Isla Vista reported hearing loud knocking on the front door for several minutes. Nobody answered. Several minutes later, witnesses saw three women in front of the sorority house shot by a man from across the street. Two were killed, one wounded. All were UC Santa Barbara students.
Rodger drove his black BMW several blocks, went into a delicatessen and shot Christoper Martinez to death, officials said. Martinez was a UC Santa Barbara student.......

I have two broken legs and need surgery. The police said I flew roughly 50 feet into a busy intersection. This is all so crazy."
Ian Papa said he was inches away on the street when the gunman's car sped up and struck two bicyclists......

Blaming this on the NRA is like blaming AAA for vehicle deaths.

He only killed two females, that was a break, since earlier it sounded like he was going to concentrate on them.
I don’t fault the father for blaming anything after losing his son, but you know the networks will be fanning these particular flames of anger.
That father’s blame sounded like a thought out political statement, by someone not wanting to waste the media opportunity.
He is probably aware that the right play on this could turn into a generous payoff for him, in politics or activism.

Gun rights are directly related to peoples’ right to live. Why not blame the psycho kid and his ireesponsible parents? The guy used weapons other than guns, and obviously was bent on killing whether he had guns or not. Why do all these dems insist on using their children as political tools? For the last eight years of my life, since I hit puberty, I've been forced to endure an existence of loneliness, rejection and unfulfilled desires, all because girls have never been attracted to me. Girls gave their affection and sex and love to other men, never to me.
I'm 22 years old and still a virgin, never even kissed a girl. And through college, 2 1/2 years, more than that actually, I'm still a virgin. It has been very torturous.

Elliot’s grandfather, British photographer George Rodger, was one of the founders of the renowned Magnum photo agency, and covered the D-Day landings in 1944.
He was also the first photographer to enter the concentration camps at Bergen-Belsen, an experience which left a lasting impression on him, according to his widow Lois ‘Jinx’ Rodger, herself a journalist and picture editor.
Speaking from her home in Kent, Elliot’s grandmother, 89, explained that he had suffered mental health issues for some time.
She said: ‘He was a very disturbed boy. He lived in California but of course I’d known him. This is just one of those very tragic things. I don’t want to talk about it any more. This is a rather difficult time.’........
