Obama Signs Executive Order To Legalize BLM’s Land Grabs
mrconservative.com ^ | April 30, 2014 | Robert Rich

In yet another turn of events indicative of Obama’s tactics, the Commander-in-Chief has stooped to issuing yet another Executive Order in order to bypass Congress. The order, as so many before it, was in no way a change to the executive branch as it ultimately legalized the BLM’s authority to snatch private land.

A press release recently disclosed by U.S. Congressman Rob Bishop shows that he was able to find 14 missing pages from an internal Department of Interior (DOI) that had miraculously disappeared. Those pages revealed the slithering snake that Obama truly is and the lows he’s willing to stoop to get his way.

According to the release:

The newly obtained 14 pages further detail plans within the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to completely overhaul the way federal lands are managed in the U.S., including the creation of new ecosystem areas that require the acquisition of new federal lands. The plans would vastly expand the power, reach and control of federal land managers.

Furthermore, Bishop noted: “These 14 pages are further evidence of this Administration’s efforts, under the guidance of Secretary Salazar, to control western lands by unilaterally locking them up without input from local residents and stakeholders nor the approval of Congress. Their plotting behind closed doors is disingenuous at best and flies in the face of this Administration’s so-called ‘transparency’”

“........He may be a lot of things but he is not stupid and it intent of pressing ahead with his destruction of the Constitution and America.”

Agree with your post except this part as it isn’t his. He obviously agrees with it, but the origin of his actions is the party. The party is everything when it comes to Leftists such as are in the leadership of our country today.

Democrats walk the party line. They stray, they pay. Lockstep with the party, or they are history.

Obama IS THE party guy doin’ as he is told to do.

Democrats must be marginalized for the sake of our country, our freedom, our constitution that makes the U.S.A. exceptional.

All republicans running for president should say that one of the first things they’re going to do is have an executive order overturning all of Obama’s executive orders.

Hussein thinks it’s the law. It’s only good for as long as he’s in office.

Nor the total absence of a “loyal opposition”. Repubs are now vastly liberal socialists. Better to let them fail at the ballot box than tolerate the charade that they are opposed to more socialism.

The socialist agenda rolls right along, becuse we reelect the same crowd, but with an “R”. That has to stop.

Not only has Salazar been gone a long time, this issue actually dates back to 2011 and you can find articles on it using the key word "wildlands"

Here is a FR thread from 2012

Interesting that his supposedly recent press release is actually dated back into Aug. 2010, not recent.

Western Caucus Press Releases

Washington, Aug 11, 2010 | comments
Congressman Rob Bishop (UT-01), Chairman of the Congressional Western Caucus, today announced that he recently obtained the preceding 14 pages previously missing from an internal Department of Interior (DOI) memo leaked last February.  The original document obtained in February by Bishop detailed planning within the DOI to use the Antiquities Act to potentially designate up to 13 million acres throughout the West as new national monuments.

The truth prevails which is what is most important. Why Rich chose to portray
this as a current event I don’t understand.

"I don't understand"

I can explain it to you. Start by doing a google search of "Rob Bishop Department of Interiors" and you will notice numerous hits all dated in April and May 2014.

Even though it is old, somebody picked it back up due to the Bundy stand off, leading to others reposting, then Robert Rich picked it up from one of those recent sources.

Later in the day or tomorrow, World Net Daily, Breibart, and others will be posting this.

I understand how the info gets out there and is misleading. What I don’t
understand is why a writer wouldn’t do more research before running with something
he finds on the net. JMO.

If Absent from the Federal Register
the fourteen pages of legislation have no legal standing
and might just as well as be the ramblings of a syphiletic mind !!

This wasn’t legislation but pages from a memo.
“he recently obtained the preceding 14 pages previously missing from an internal
Department of Interior (DOI) memo leaked last February. “

So this is agency policy , or , 'guidance' formulated by the agency's legal department
In other words , this is how the agency will implement policy; it is "fait complete"
It sounds to me that Congress needs to re-consider BLM funding should they choose to follow this procedure.
It would re-establish responsibility and accountability , and limit "OVER REACH" of various Fed. agencies.
It is called a series of ' Checks and Balances ', assureing that no one branch of Govt. exceeds its authority;
this policy hasn't been appropriately applied in the last 12 - 8 years .
