Democrats Privately Calling Obama 'Detached,' 'Flat Footed,' 'Incompetent'

Daniel Halper May 25, 2014 10:04 AM

CNN's John King reports that Democrats are privately calling President Obama "detached," "flat footed," and "incompetent."

"Forget for a moment that Republican outrage," said King on his CNN show this morning. "More and more Democrats in key 2014 races are calling for the president to get a spine, they say, and fire his Veterans Affairs secretary. And what more and more Democrats are saying privately is scathing, calling the president and his team detached, flat footed, even incompetent.

"Maggie Haberman," said King turning to a panelist, "that's what strikes me, what democrats are saying privately in the wakes of the healthcare.gov problems, they see a president who doesn't want to take command, doesn't want to act fast. Raising the competence question. Some Democrats, who believe in government, [are saying] this White House doesn't appear to have its hand on the lever."

Haberman of Politico agreed, cited more examples, and added: "All of this adds up to somebody who just doesn't seem at all involved."

So CNN and Democrats have finally seen what all of us on FR realized years ago.

Uh, “congratulations”, I guess.

Yet to their last breath, they will defend his remaining tenure and future legacy with the vehemence of the defenders at the Battle of the Bulge. To allow any current or historical criticism that sticks with the American people would be tantamount to quashing the chances of any future black President.

It vexes them to no end that they allowed a narcissistic incompetent with no provenance to be crowned, but there is nothing they can do about it now.

Obama revels in being president and acting like a dictator. He has absolutely no ability to govern.

6 years later the novelty of being president has worn off and like a child, Obama has withdrawn and become disengaged. Don’t let the speeches and platitudes fool you.

The left wing cabal behind him have always run the country. Their figurehead or vessel that they used to coopt the presidency (Obama) is falling apart.

This is a laugh-and-a-half! "Act fast?" The government???. Of all things, that is not in the Democrat playbook.

Deny, deny, deny. Delay, Delay Delay. Obfuscate, obfuscate, obfuscate.

That's more their line and Dear Leader is playing it to the hilt. I'm surprised they don't sing his praises behind closed doors. Unless professional jealousy is gnawing them.

Obama and the liberal agenda suck. They know it is increasingly difficult to blame everything on Bush. They will say Obama tried to make a Utopian world but we need someone that can get it done — hildabeast.

They don’t want to face the truth that the liberal policy is a failure. They will drag us down further to try to prove themselves correct.

It is called being a good saleman.

You tell the customer what he wants to hear and if you are a good enough salemen, you become rich and/or elected.

And actually, all the top heads of state, left or right are doing quite well. It is just the ones on the left are bigger hypocrits about it.

They acted like women on the pill with a crush on a eunuch and now that they’re off the pill trying to run a family with this idiot, whom every sound and wise person warned against, they need help. And they blame the eunuch waiting still for him to change into a man, instead of themselves

Pointing to the prediction that they don’t see the problem, they blame the individuall not the systemic pattern. They won’t look to the wise ones for guidance next time, and there will be a next time, they’ll turn to - not a wise patriarch or even matriarch, they’ll turn to a bitchy woman to come in and wield it- that or another eunuch

Obama doesn’t fire administrators when they become embroiled in a scandal because those people were hand picked to do his bidding. So long as they are obedient, they stay.
Withholding health services from the aged is the Democrat party’s chosen method to reduce spending on Medicare, SS, and the VA.

These Dems are way off the mark. They simply don't understand Obama’s role in American politics and American history. So naturally they underestimate the man and his accomplishments.

Khrushchev fully explained this to us long ago. It should have been warning. If it was, then it has been widely ignored. Or perhaps it has been embraced. In either case, here we are. What a mess.

They're still blaming Bush.

Trust me, I know of what I speak. An alumni chat room I frequent still blames Bush. Obama can do no wrong, it must be their way to assuage their white privilege guilt.

Yesterday, there was a thread on evil, and one brought up Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Based on my understanding of American history, and conversations with those that lived during WWII, I merely mentioned that had Truman not used those bombs, he would have been impeached.

That sent a few libs over the edge: "you Republicans! All you ever talk about is impeachment!" lol

He is truly one of the laziest presidents this country has ever had. Entire swaths of the official White House schedule regularly show up empty. He reportedly spends most days barricaded in his private office watching ESPN. He literally has to be dragged to any meetings. He loves to travel and play golf, that’s about it. If he has to give a speech at the other end of the trip, it’s a necessary evil to pay for it.

...And all of this is actually a good thing.

Imagine what he would have done if he WASN’T lazy?!?
