Typical misinformation put out by Bloomberg’s Moms Demand Action on Santa Barbara shooting

Given the Santa Barbara killers’ hatred of women (though 4 of the 6 people killed were men), it is understandable that the topic of violence against women would be discussed. Not too surprisingly, despite the fact that half of those killed were killed by being stabbed, gun control organizations have been pushing for more gun control. In particular, Bloomberg’s Moms Demand Action makes this claim about female victims of firearm homicides. . . . It seems doubtful that Bloomberg’s Moms Demand Action could even make this comparison across all countries. The UNODC data allows you to break down murders by the sex of the victim and by whether firearms are used, but it doesn’t allow one to simultaneously identify homicides by both the sex of the victim and the method of murder.

So let’s breakdown homicides by the victim’s gender. Moms Demand Action’s claim doesn’t make much sense as one shouldn’t compare the number of homicides since that doesn’t account for differences in population size. . . .

The father - a typical liberal elite democrat - is blaming this on the NRA.

NOT one mass murderer has been the child of an NRA member. “Daddy” needs to think about that...

Well of course!....you don't think he'd take any responsibility for raising the wacko do ya???

I'm sure he was a wonderful kid just turning his life around before the NRA took over parenting him...../s

What did you expect? Libs never take responsibility for their actions. It’s always someone else’s fault. Gees, don’t we see that on display everyday from DC?

It seems to me that that if he had gotten his hands on some more girls then he wouldn’t have gotten his hands on the guns or did I misread his rant.

I’m seeing more women arming themselves. They are not depending on sissy liberal men to defend and protect them any longer against the evils of the world.

Strong men are becoming more respectful, not to mention polite, and find themselves attracted towards these women. It’s a phenomena in this day and age. Strong men prefer strong women.

Not to mention fewer misunderstandings and divorces among these couples if you get my drift.

“Gun Control”

Yeah, the `gun-moll goo-goos’ are out there, like Molly Hatchet and her prohibition cranks, except there was nothing in the Bill of Rights about liquor and beer.

It can’t be repeated enough: “gun control” is a euphemism used by this and other 2nd amendment hate groups.
You’ll see it repeated over-and-over in such article like a mantra (`All we want are reasonable gun controls...’)
Of course a euphemism is the substitution of a mild, indirect, or vague expression for one thought to be offensive, harsh, or blunt.
What they really mean is:

“firearms confiscation,”

but if they said what they meant, people would be shouting at them. (Yes, that word is `shouting’.)

And also important, even if repeated, is that they don’t want to `control guns’; they want to control gun owners.
So, every time they manufacture outrage and “demand action” following a shooting, our polite response should remain: “Go directly to Hell.”
