Poroshenko wins in landslide, vows to 'bring peace' to Ukraine (UPDATES)

Petro Poroshenko wins Ukraine's presidency in the first round, according to the results of two national exit polls, with approximately 56 percent of the vote.

Ukrainians elected Petro Poroshenko to be their fifth president in a vote that was dubbed "the second independence referendum."

Poroshenko won his presidency in the first round, according to two exit polls.

The poll conducted by four TV channels showed that he received 57.8 percent of the vote. The national exit poll, conducted by a consortium of reputable survey takers, put Poroshenko at slightly less -- 55.9 percent of the votes, but still a clear majority.

His main rival, former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, received 12.8 of the vote in the TV poll and 12.9 percent in the national poll.

Everyone else finished in single digits in both exit polls.

A second round of voting would have been required on June 15 if no candidate among the 21 on the ballot had secured the majority of votes.

This whole thread must be a lie...

According to TV broadcasts in russia.....

........yarosh won with 37%.......

“Security Service and State Service in cooperation with the Ukrainian IT- specialists found localized and finally neutralized virus software, viral tab that was supposed to work in the post-election period counting in the CEC. Specifically, the winner of the election with the rate 37% and the equivalent of 19 million voters had become D. Yarosh ,”- said the source.

According to him, the virus was disposed for 40 minutes before going ORT story aired. “Obviously , this is no time to learn in Moscow, because there is nothing to prevent the file ORT broadcast “feykovu” news “ - the newspaper notes.

Recall now the Russian “First Channel” showed the results of elections in Ukraine, where the top ranked candidate Dmitry Jarosz with a score of 37.13%.

Instead, according to final data from the National Exit Poll Jarosz not even entered the top ten candidates for the presidency and won 1% of the vote.”

All russia and their trolls, there and here, are
so simpleminded and their stupidity makes

Your Russian lies are falling apart comrade, the whole world is catching on now. The Kremlin puppet prez is gone and now the Ukrainian people are going to move further into the freedom they should have had the last 20 years.

Next is take back Eastern Ukrainian from the drunken Russian thugs and restore order there. They can be run all across the border into Russia and your comrades can have the terrorism on their doorsteps they have sown.

And now the world can unite against the bear and sanction the crap out of it.

Putin screwed the pooch on this one, Russia is going to be a whole weaker and got exposed for what it is, our enemy!

I haven’t referred to Yarosh as he was immaterial from the get go...everyone pretty much knew at the beginning of this race the election was between the top two contenders, Yulia and Porsh, and right from the start all news agencies presented them as such.

Moreso...it was obvious when “Porsh became the man of the hour” when he became involved in assisting the Maidan in the protests along with McCain and Nuland and Kerry, his ‘timed appearance’ was obvious...and further consolidating the voters when the “Boxer” dropped out to run for Mayor of Kiev and threw his support behind Porsh. Everything after that was show.

Yarosh was too much a criminal to begin with to stand much of a chance. Even the International Human Rights stood against him for that very reason.

One other interesting thing which occured in the run.....Yulia attempted to wiggle into the good graces of the US by arranging a trip to the US to “thank America” for helping in her release from prison. It backfired on her...they refused to meet with her. She thought she could manipulate the US further after it didn’t work when they first met with her in Ukraine early on. At any rate she cancelled her trip of course.

Her final move was getting photo ops with Ol’ retired Madeline from the us state dept....and then passing these out to to the voters in mass to appear as if the US was supporting her. It of course didn’t garner her what she hoped for.

quote-appear as if the US was supporting her..

That is what I been trying to tell you trolls, the obongi
people are not supporting her or gives a rats ass about
UKRAINE, no support whatever, and hardly any in congress,
as there half the support seems for russia....
Only some American people care about Ukraine...

Their tepid response moneywise, was a small fraction of
what they are wasting on green crap, vote fraud, here in US.
Ukraines support is Soros, and western/EU globalists,
who are in competition with putler.

It don’t make her look that bad, but makes us look
like assholes, and drives home the point I been making,
obongi don’t care, he is with putler,, ‘’flexibility’’

~And to think our Russian comrades told us the Nazis will control everything.~

In fact I’m satisfied with the result. At least they were smart enough to keep Tymoshenko away from office.
On the other hand Willy Wonka the winner is not much different from Yanukovich.
And mind my words, he would probably mimic Putin in his domestic politics.

I don’t know anything about Poroshenko. Is he a good guy or not? Is he good representative of the will of the Ukrainian people?

I hope he’s a conservative!

There are no conservatives on your terms there. But I’m kind agree that the guy is an improvement. On the other hand I have no idea what colors would he show in a recent future. Ukrainian government is a magic place. Everyone who were there turned out to be a crook in a moment.

Porsh has switched sides frequently throughout his political service, generally plays to whatever is popular at the moment....

...He’s an Oligarch so his first concern will always be himself and his interests. We won’t see what he will do until the US is out of the picture. Until then he’ll be co-operative, though they may make it appear he’s in charge.

He’s considered the least bad of the bad. He’s served in Ukraines Gov. prior and part of the old guard. So Ukraine is basically in a wash and repeat mode....but will see. I don’t have much hope for Ukraines people...they always get the raw end of the deals.

Well it was evident Yulia wasn’t the favored Candidate...however she is brutal and given the dynamics of Ukraines propensity for violence I don’t put anything past her doing to retain some degree of power....shhe’s hungry for it...and she has an army, there’s still no telling yet if she’ll remain “in place”. Time will tell.

Both Obama and Putin said they would not go to war over Ukraine...however neither said they wouldn’t do what is now playing out with various militias and hired thugs....looks like Bosnia in many respects at various times of fighting.

Yes the Globalist agenda is driving this...in order to isolate Putin from his influence in Europe, and the growing consolidation of the Brics nations. However, it’s actually driven them closer as we know.......Even so you cannot eliminate the Oligarchs in Ukraine nor the peoples desires. These too are in conflict and playing out on the ground.

This whole thing is multi-tiered and why such varying reports and chaos.....I have said all along and will repeat so...there are ‘no good guys’ in this mess.

So the globalists are preventing Putin’s plans to be a globalist?

You use term oligarch like it was cancer.

A lot of them are just huge businessmen, making money.

Like the biggest farmer there is billionaire and farms

700,000 hectaresm with huge workforce.

Like our Bill Gates, and our many dozens of billionairs.

most who support libs here.

What will count is the ones there put there resources
(spend some so they and workforce can make some)

toward running out the terrorists so they can get back

to hiring people, making things, making money...
