Many Democrats – Sens. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) among them – have shamelessly attacked the NRA and pushed for more gun control in the wake of the heinous May 23 Santa Barbara attacks. To do this they have seized on three shooting deaths but completely ignored three stabbing deaths, although stabbing deaths are far more personal – requiring the killer to be very close to his victims.
On May 24 Breitbart News reported that attacker Elliot Rodger stabbed three people to death "in his residence" before getting into his car to shoot and kill three persons, wound seven others, and run down four others with his car.
After all these various forms of attack, Roll Call reports that Sen. Feinstein is "lamenting the 'stranglehold' the NRA has over gun laws" and Sen. Blumenthal is calling on Congress to take up the Senate's failed gun control bill and pass it.
Media outlets like CNN are right there with these senators, describing the heinous and criminal shooting and killing of three people as a "mass shooting" – a move which plays into the left's overall push to swell the number of reported "mass shootings" so those reports can then be used as leverage for more gun control.
Rodger did shoot and kill three people, and the fact that those three people are deceased is horrible. But he also took a far more personal action in stabbing and killing three people "in his residence" before he shot anyone, and the act of stabbing them in this way is savage.
Why aren't the three people who were killed with a knife important enough for Democrats to rally around?

Because they were the wrong color (not black), and the weapon didn’t fit The Plan. The media has ignored the white victims of the ongoing low-profile race war for decades; nothing new here.
The leftists can ban all of the guns and ammo if they want, but it wouldn’t do them any good. It’s far easier to obtain firearms in the US illegaly (ie: not documented by the government), than it is to obtain them legaly through government approved dealers.
But then again, it doesn’t really matter as this crazy kid has demonstrated that you can kill just as many people with knives and cars as you can firearms.
Why not look at possible CAUSES.....war without end globally which devalues life, the negative impact of mind-altering prescribed meds, a culture that promotes violence and dysfunction, lives that are disconnected from ones surroundings, the constant barrage of stimuli from technology....
So many people aren't hinged to reality anymore. Taking away guns doesn't solve that problem. Either does people having enough guns to commit mass murders.
This lunatic killed more people with a knife and a car than were killed with a gun. The Left certainly doesn’t want to admit that divorce, therapists, mind-alterning prescription drugs, violent video games, and our over-sexualized secular society were to blame for another mass killing by a liberal’s spawn.

Speaking of progressives, have you heard the latest from Democrat Rep. Joe Garcia of Florida? He said, “We’ve proven that Communism works.” I think the video is still on YouTube, or type in his name to see what he said...and his excuse.

Plenty of black shooting victims this weekend in Chicago (plus 3 more at Black Bike Week in Myrtle Beach). More than half of homicides in the United States are committed by a small and readily identifiable sliver of population. The media avoids mention of this politically incorrect fact because it doesn't promote their socialist/liberal agenda -- which is to disarm the hoi polloi, not to keep people safe.
So, Feinstein is saying that a majority of her colleagues are corrupt. That their votes are for sale. Sen. Feinstein, noted CCW carry permit holder back in the day that was very rare, ought to name names. Who among her colleagues have sold their votes.
Sen. Feinstein, if Senators sell their votes on this life and death issue, what else do they sell their votes for. Come on, name names so we can expel the corruptocrats from office.
I'd love to have the chance to question these fools, they wouldn't know what hit them.

We must never forget that the expression `gun control’ is their camouflage for what they really want: firearms confiscation.
When you see the phrase, keep in mind what their ultimate goal is—they want a country in which only the military & police (and their security guards) are armed.
And you’re right about knives. Just as homosexual marriage will be followed by state-sanctioned pedophilia (SEE: Boy Scouts) bigamy and even bestiality (not shaking your head yet?) once they have achieved “gun control” they will come after knives.
