African-Americans: Boko Haram just Enslaved Africa's Children -- Again

Slavery can be some sadistic thug standing over you, wielding a whip. Or it can be a slick con artist selling you crystal meth. Both of them are after your freedom, your body, your soul. They want you to be their slave.

Boko Haram and its ilk have been enslaving black people in Africa since the rise of Islam in the 7th century. Ancient Islam arose from a desert raider culture, which considered slaves taken in war to be legal. But long before Islam human beings enslaved each other, sometimes as individuals, and sometimes en masse.

In the case of Boko Haram (meaning “books are forbidden”), they just stole 276 young Nigerian girls from their parents, right in front of the world media, citing Islam as their warrant -- and nobody in the world dared so say anything about the long history of Arab slave-stealing in Africa. The world censored its conscience.

Child-stealing is an unforgiveable human evil, and it is not new. What is new and shocking today is how the living descendants of African slaves in America no longer know their own history well enough to realize that we have just seen the story of their ancestors in the middle of 2014 -- not 1650. The Atlantic slave trade started when Muslim slavers stole Africans from their tribes and families to ship them across the sea under inconceivably cruel and dehumanized conditions.

Today, Africans in Nigeria are being victimized by the identical culture of slavery that supplied the Atlantic slave trade for four centuries. Muslim fundamentalists like Iran and Saudi Arabia have never renounced slave-taking in war, massive rape of women and children as a weapon of war, and massive decapitation of enemies if they do not convert to Islam…

Mr. Lewis is absolutely correct in his history. The institution of slavery is not a “white mans” invention, as both the Nation of Islam, and the Black Race Supremacy teachings of Rev. Wright of Chicago would lead us to believe.

The istitution of slavery was fathered by Islam and its Sharia Law.Its perfectly fine to enslave infidels and force them to convert to Islam, or barring their conversion, slaughtering the infidels.

The modern term for Boko Haram is Islamofascism. They do indeed get along well with Utopian Liberal Fascists like Obama and his ilk. Boko Haram leaders know that Barack Hu8ssein Obama has their back, and he will just “appear” to be searching to destroy them. Al Taquia is a wonderful thing to watch in motion. This part Mr. Lewis has missed.

Yes that is correct. But that institution of Egypt morphed into the modern version which has plagued the West since the 1500's. Slavery as a commercial enterprise and instutution combines the criminal elements and liberal fascists of the West, such as the Obama crowd, and joins them with the trasditional elements of Sharia Islam. The slave masters then become "freedom fighters" who bear the elements of an acceptable liberal fascist style revolution, entirely acceptable to Obama and his crowd. Why do you think Hillary refused to name Boko Haram as an official terrorist organization.

The slavery of Egypt has little to do with the modern version, it was just an historic precursor.But you are right that slavery pre-existed our modern version, but it was then a family institution of royalty and the cazbah. Oh come now. Slavery preceded Islam by millenia, and was present in every pre-technological society. Islam, which has not grown out of its medieval origins, is the only modern day religion that tolerates, even encourages, slavery. But to say that slavery was “fathered” by Islam? That’s as badly inaccurate as blaming Europeans for it.

Indentured Servitude was fashioned after Mosaic slavery. It was limited in years, and it provided protection for the servent/slave.

Mosaic law did not have prisons. The alternative was working as a slave to pay off your debt. Maximum length of time you could be enslaved was 6 years. On the 7th year, you had to be released. Not only that, but mistreatment of slaves was cause for punishment, even to the forfeiture of wealth and possible enslavement.

When Moslems take slaves, they are taken for life. They are mistreated even unto death. The females are raped without mercy and murdered at the slightest provocation.

Very, very different.
