Will Israel be the first cashless society on the entire planet? A committee chaired by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahus chief of staff has come up with a three phase plan to all but do away with cash transactions in Israel.
According to a study conducted by MasterCard, approximately 80 percent of all consumer transactions in the United States are now cashless.
If a government can track all of your transactions, it will essentially be able to monitor everywhere you go and pretty much keep track of virtually everything that you do.

In the end, NO ONE will buy or sell without the mark.
The mark of the beast provided by, Mastercard.
You got it. Never accept it, no matter what.
I think we’ll be gone before it, but I can’t be 100% certain.
and believe it
And wouldn't the government love it. Not only would they have the surveillance process, but they would have the power to shut down a person's account (ability to buy and sell) for whatever reason.
The mark of the beast: "And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. Revelation 13:16-17
The prophecy people like Jimmy D Young say that there is no event pending that has to be fulfilled before we graduate - just God’s perfect timing.
I’m praying for my kids’ salvation and the quick Return.
The chip implant is in the Obamacare bill
I think we still need to see a couple things happen, but you’re right, it will be God’s perfect timing.
Keep on praying, wear your knees on your jeans right out.
I am going to do the same.
It appears we will get to see the Time of the Beast (and the Perdition) occur in our lifetime.
Really. Can this get any more “end times-ish?” And of all the people to adopt this first.
Really, barter? Suppose I need a couple of hundred rounds of linked .50 and I have a couple of dozen bushels of tomatoes. How's that going to work? Or I need some work done on my new computer center on wheels otherwise know as a car, and I'm an expert in statistical modeling and data mining, but I don't have any commodities on hand. Again how's that going to work? I doubt the mechanic or the repair shop would need any of those services
Money came into being for a reason. Cash - now that would work, but as we go to more on-line sales that is almost impossible without some sort of third party financial clearing entity unless you're just buying locally.
“Im praying for my kids salvation and the quick Return.”
I’m already cashless, except for a $100 withdrawal for bubble gum money every 3 months or so.
There are bigger worries than surveillance. That takes some effort and some thought. If They want to stop you cold, it’s just one mouse click to disable your money card.
And that process has been in place for quite some time. The day after a death certificate is filed, you are a non-person. Every bank account is frozen, every credit card is cancelled, every brokerage account is frozen. And it’s days and weeks to get any of them turned back on under the control of the Executor or surviving spouse, for example.
How long could any of us make it with NO way to pay for a fill up or a ten pound bag of rice, with the electricity and gas turned off as well.
Good point. The government certainly could “accidently” target your accounts for elimination.
Cash is important. When I’m abroad, even though I have contacted my credit card company that I would be leaving the US, they have denied service because of “suspicious activity”. Who wants to spend hours on the phone trying to get things cleared up when you need to pay your hotel bill. Good thing I had cash.
Sure, I’m talking about a minor convenience, but I’m sure anyone can see how such as system could be abused by the 0bama administration through back-doors via credit card companies. The excuses that the company made a mistake, or some hacker stole information, or the card-holder was put on a watch list are a good way for the government to escape responsibility.
“And wouldn’t the government love it. Not only would they have the surveillance process, but they would have the power to shut down a person’s account (ability to buy and sell) for whatever reason.”
I see this as a way to get people their “food stamp/EBT” funds. After a large economic crisis, who would want to reject this mark if it was perceived as the only way to feed one’s family?
When someone sells out on you, you say he’s a nice guy?
