He cannot sign that bill, as it violates the U.S. Constitution. < \sarcasm>

Please write Christie and ask im to veto these bills. If he thinks enough people out in America’s heartland oppose this, he will veto them.

REMEMBER, idiotic gun laws which succeed in New Jersey are later tried in Washington, DC, e.g. the Assault Rifle Ban.

Crispy with donut in hand will sign it. He’s a gun grabber from way back.

Never would I choose to live in a liberal run state such as this.

Its what happens when liberals scream the loudest and become the ‘squeaky wheel that gets the grease’, while all the others remain silent and get nothing.

we knew this was coming back in 1962 when Thomas J Dodd and Emanuel Cellar proposed a federal bill to “Only register handguns. Rifles and shotguns will not be affected.”

Chris Christie is dead to me. Fortunately, with his cholesterol and body fat . . .

I hope Kris Krispy Kreme signs them.

After that, he'll have no choice but to move to the Democrat party. There he will just be just another Alinskyite.

What is wrong with New Jersey lawmakers that they would even pass something like this? I think they are counting on Christy to veto it. They can say to their constituents that they voted for it but Christy vetoed it.

No exemption for tubular magazines? For cryin’ out loud...even Massachusetts exempts tubular magazines.

The only politician I would trust is one where the newspaper admitted something like, “but everyone knows that this Governor would never sign such a bill” in its first paragraph.

Notice that, with Christie, they allow for the chance that he “might” sign it.

I thought RINO hunting was already illegal in the united states, why does Christie need another layer of legal protection to layer over his ample behind????

We don’t care about his presidential aspirations, if he has any. But he has shown no inclination, other than those easy vetoes, to back the second amendment. To legally carry here you have to “prove a need”, and unless you’re connected the proof is never sufficient.

He’s running for President, so he will neither veto it nor sign it. He’ll ignore it - effectively a veto with less sobbing from the Newark Star Ledger and the NY Times.
