Covington police are looking for two junior high school-aged boys who attacked a juvenile Friday (May 23) afternoon as he was walking home from the library. One of boys approached the victim from behind and punched him in the face, breaking his jaw, Chief Tim Lentz said.
The suspects approached the victim when he was walking home from the library at 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of West 27th Avenue and North Pierce Street. The victim did not know the suspects, and Lentz said they did not communicate.

Police said one of the suspects had a black backpack and was wearing a maroon shirt and khaki shorts. The other was wearing a white shirt and maroon shorts. Both had “military style haircuts.”

People keep saying these knock out games won’t end until innocent citizens start arming themselves and shooting en masse when these occurrences happen, in order to send a loud and clear message to the feral population that perpetrate these knock out games. Perhaps it’s time for experienced, gun carrying “volunteers” to infiltrate these neighborhoods and weed out the scum who try to prey on them. Could end badly, but probably just for the perpetrators. Just a thought.

But, I pity the fool who tries this on me!
I hear you; in my town there isn’t much violent crime, but the perps breaking into cars or dealing drugs are often whites.
A lot of people are armed down here. The target of these thugs is a juvenile who is not allowed to be armed. Probably too scared to attack an adult as they might get shot.
We got some here... I am sure you can guess the melanin content of the mugshots in the local paper. Sad but true.
