"I wish everyday I had a chance to live in the time period of the civil war- I would have loved help to destroy the confederacy," he said.
He then called members of the Tea Party terrorists. He also claimed to be "leading the charge" against the Tea Party and Fox News.

“Picking between @GOPLeader Eric cantor & tea @DaveBratVA7th is like a F, Marry, Kill between @michellemalkin @ehasselbeck & @SarahPalinUSA,” he tweeted.
Mike Dickinson, who has a history of making provocative statements in order to gain attention, claims to be running as the Democratic nominee for the House seat representing Virgina’s 7th district although he never filed papers to run.
If fidelity to the Constitution is treason, then I am a traitor.

A Virginia Democrat saying he would have fought for the Union is nearly as ridiculous as the man who was a junior Senator to a Klansman calling someone a racist.
