Much of Elliot Rodger’s video and written manifestos pointed to a frustration over women not finding him attractive as motive for the killing spree he went on Friday night near UC Santa Barbara that left seven dead including himself. But according to one “expert” on Fox News this weekend, it was his “homosexual impulses” that may have driven him to kill.
Dr. Robi Ludwig, a psychotherapist and reality show host, said her theories about Rodger’s motives began to evolve the more she listened to his disturbing rants. “When I was first listening to him, I was like, ‘Oh, he’s angry with women for rejecting him,’” she told Fox’s Jeanine Pirro. “And then I started to have a different idea: Is this somebody who is trying to fight against his homosexual impulses?”
“Was he angry with women because they were taking away men from him?” she asked. “But this is a kid who couldn’t connect, and felt enraged, and wanted to obliterate anyone that made him feel like a nothing.” Seconds later, she added that even though she had never had a chance to diagnose him in person, she thought he might have had “early signs of schizophrenia.”
When Pirro pointed out that Rodger’s victims including men as well as women, Ludwig asked, “Was he angry at the men for not choosing him? This is a kid who was just angry in general and probably felt rejected, he couldn’t connect, he couldn’t feel loved, he couldn’t feel successful. Maybe he didn’t feel like a real man.”
Following those statements, Pirro wondered why, with all of the apparent problems Rodger had, his school did not do more to alert authorities of his potential for violence. She did not ask why he was able to legally purchase three handguns and

This guy sent off vibrations that made my skin crawl.

Never underestimate the power of the LGBT agenda. Sad to see comments from a professional giving a valid theory could be labelled homophobic. It’s political correctness gone mad.
It’s a valid opinion, what is yours?
A while back I saw a documentary on one of the PBS channels hosted by David Suzuki. His theory, which he strongly implied but didn't outright state (for obvious reasons), was that homosexuals are "made" in the womb. According to him, children get their sex determined at conception, but their orientation and their relative masculinity/femininity are determined during gestation. There are specific times during pregnancy when the correct amount of the correct hormones are supposed to bathe the fetus so that it turns out as expected, i.e. a straight masculine male or straight feminine female.
If the mother's body is stressed through anxiety, drugs, smoking, drinking, etc. then a hormonal imbalance can occur at these important times leading to homosexual effeminate males, homosexual masculine males, homosexual effeminate females, or homosexual masculine females. He mentioned a study that there seemed to be a spike of homosexuals born to women who gave birth during WWII. Seemingly these mothers were stressed out about their husbands being in harms way and potentially getting killed.
This would explain the rise of the LGBT movement in the 70's if there was a spike in homosexuals born in the 40's.
The LGBT lobby seems to suppress any discussion of this possibility. If hormonal disturbances during gestation are the real cause for homosexuality, then the cure is relatively easy, i.e. treatments to make sure that the hormonal balance is correct throughout pregnancy.
The killer's mother could have been under a lot of stress while she was married. According to the manifesto, his mother was so upset about what happened in her first marriage that she never wanted to get married again.
Putting together some bits of info from the manifesto:
1. Father has male "roommate"
2. Father likes taking pictures of women's butts (but maybe he would have preferred to have taken pictures of men's butts?)
3. Mother was so upset about her marriage to the father that she never considered getting married again.
4. Father's second wife wore pants in the family and the killer resented his father's wussiness and deferral to his stepmom.
If the father was in reality homosexual, and if homosexuality is inheritable, then maybe the killer is a homo.
But that's a whole lotta speculating.
My opinion is that it is no longer possible to know the answer to the question and that only a quack would pretend to be able to know at this point the correct answer. She's not a bad looking quack, though.

Well, anyone can speculate, but I don't have long blonde hair and I don't wear skirts so no TV network is going to ask me to speculate while I wiggle, jiggle and smile.
I do try to stay in touch with reality and I suspect most people who know me think I'm pretty good at that. I like this world and I've adapted pretty well to it. Things work for me so I have few complaints.
Reality? I suspect I'll learn a lot more of the details about reality when it's my turn to stand before God. If I find out anything more before then, I'll ping you. ;-)

When I read the ‘manifesto’ one thing caught my eye right away; he put a lot of time and effort into it. He read, reviewed, re-read and reviewed again, over and over in an effort to paint a sympathetic light on his ‘life story’. An attempt to win the victim lottery . . .
Yet through all that, his tortured writing reeks of a man (boy) who can’t see beyond his own reflection. Everyone in his life is judged by him by their level of worldly support provided him; money, clothes, opulence, exclusivity, favor. The most disconnected and narcissist person I’ve read about in a long time.
I don’t see a flipped out / conflicted homosexual here. I see a twenty-something with the mind of an eight year old raging at the thought of being required to make his own way in the world, being thoroughly addicted to the opiate of attaining his desires without effort, as accustomed his entire life.
