I did indeed Sally Forth this morning - a smooth commute in - a productive day at the office. The weather gurus said we'd have thunderstorms this afternoon and evening - nothing here yet, although I understand Richmond is getting pounded.

I hope you are having a great Wednesday - checks all done?

The moving van won’t be here for a few more weeks. Typical for a transcontinental move. The floor isn’t a bad place for sitting or sleeping.

Hi! Yeppers. Still interviewing. I am gobsmacked (speechless) on how many are applying. Some right out of aviation schools. Some good candidates have EMT type training which is a plus. I’ve been Skyping my folks almost on a daily basis - but usually around 3am here. >yawn<

Checks all done despite several program crashes, ADP quitting, or at least not allowing us to log on, Adobe Acrobat quitting on me personally and everything we do is in pdf form. It has been quite the day.

After hurricane Wilma, I had no electricity or clean water for three weeks.

I learned how to make coffee with an inoperative coffee maker and a can of sterno.

Day by day, the ankle is getting better.

Meanwhile, a lot of people are cancelling for the summer.

I lose about 3/4 of my income for eight weeks.

Hopefully, My wonderful students will hang in there with just a week or two off for travel, etc.
